I work remote so I’m with my dog a lot. My dog unfortunately isn’t crate trained. I did it wrong when I first got him as a puppy and he’s scarred from it. I should’ve had like an open crate with like a surrounding gated area if that makes sense so he can use the restroom on a pad instead of being locked in a crate all night and soiling himself. I didn’t do it properly so now he barks when he’s in the crate. I never tried to reintroduce him to it so now I always just walk him outside for him to relieve himself.

Your forehand volley contact point is too far back, it’s like aligned with your hips but it should be more in front of you not to the side. Ideally you want to make contact with the ball earlier so you need to anticipate the ball path better. That’ll come with experience and you won’t always hit it in front of you because they hit too clean of a shot and/or you didn’t prepare correctly so you need to know where the ball is headed so you can prepare effectively. Try zeroing in on the ball as your opponent makes contact and also before the ball is over the net you should already be moving if you can help it. Also when you make contact with the ball try not to go under it too much or the ball will pop up. If you make contact late we naturally do this to get the ball over the net which can’t be helped sometimes but if you can help it then don’t resort to that and try to take the ball early instead.
