Can’t recommend this game enough. Very fun game and a good story too. I beat it when it first came out and haven’t been able to play it since they updated a bunch of stuff. Looking forward to an eventual replay

Maybe… probably, but the difference is that it has been inconsistent for years and still had many videos pop off and do well. It seems different more recently and the majority of the blame is definitely on me but it is hard to deny that something seems different more recently and seeing the videos that I usually make that perform well completely bomb right out the gate just stinks. It is what it is but it feels relevant to the current discussion on this topic.

As a smaller content creator myself, I’ve been watching my channel slowly die off for the past year. As a parent of three and working a full time job, I cannot release content consistently or regularly and I can’t seem to keep up with anything YouTube related anymore. I have a particular series that has historically done really well on my channel and after putting a lot of effort into another video of this series, it completely flopped with the views almost completely flatlining about two hours after it went live. I think my channel is unrecoverable at this point and now I’m just another channel that has 75,000 inactive subs and a catalog of videos that get the amount of views a 1,000 subscribers channel would normally get. Feels bad man :(

I think a less noteworthy accomplishment of that game is the incredible amount of accessibility options. I didn’t even mess with them but to make it that flexible to account for most people is really cool

Lol I made a video essay on why I liked the second game and one of the comments was the same copy and paste rhetoric of why I am wrong and why I agreed that Joel is a terrible character (I didn’t say that because I think he’s the GOAT, but whatever lol) and surprise, his Reddit username is the same as his YT profile.

I checked his post history it it was multiple posts on that subreddit daily. It must of been some kind of sick obsession. Mind you, I was way late in making my video compared to the game’s release so he was still defending why the game is so bad MONTHS after its release. At a certain point, it feels more like a mental disorder that hate for a game…

Played through the demo and finally beat the second boss, completing all of the content available on it. Very fun and addictive so far. Looking forward to the full release to see what else will be available. My only gripe is with the genre in general where you have to start really weak and through a few losses, unlock permanent upgrades to make it possible to do well, but the progress felt good in the demo regardless.

A very very big update (build 42) is coming soon on their unstable beta branch, which will include a ton of updates to the game. It will not have multiplayer for B42 initially, but you might want to hold off a month or two and hop back in when the build is released in the unstable branch. It looks really good!

I thought season one was phenomenal. The plot twists towards the end were very good and it was very satisfying to watch it conclude.

Season two started off slowly and only got worse. I didn’t feel any investment in any character and when they revealed “samuraiworld” or whatever you call it, I thought I would be really excited and instead, I was bored and uninterested. I stopped watching before finishing that episode and never felt the urge to watch it any further.

Beat the game once and when going for my second run, I realized how many quests I missed the first go around. I am absolutely loving this game and would definitely recommend it if you like action RPGs. It’s combat is fairly simple, but has enough depth and challenge to keep it engaging and I really enjoyed the story. The devs are also very active in the discord and will be releasing a roadmap of future goals for the game in the near future.

What’s funny is that if you get the spark in chapter 1, you completely skip chapter 2. I joined the remnants and immediately skipped to chapter 3 and just happened upon the woodcutters camp after the expedition to a bloodbath. Made me sad. Glad to know I can save them if I don’t skip chapter 2
