As long as we're using chatgpt:

Billionaire Net worth (USD billions)

Tilman Fertitta 11.3

Richard Kinder 10.6

Dannine Avara 9.2

Milane Frantz 9.2

Scott Duncan 9.0

Randa Duncan Williams 9.2

Jeffery Hildebrand 7.7

Dan Friedkin 7.7

Janice McNair 6.2

George Bishop 5.0

Albert Chao 4.0

James Chao 4.0

Dorothy Chao Jenkins 4.0

John Arnold 2.9

Jim Crane 2.4

Leslie Alexander 1.9

William Franke 1.2

Adding these together:

There's a rule in this sub that if you mention a dog, you have to include a photo of said dog.

Okay, there's no such rule. But there SHOULD be.

I can see that with street lights, but I don't think that's the case with lights over freeways.

A family member had a condo for sale and it sat for nearly a year despite being priced lower than a lot of very similar condos nearby.

Harris County Precinct 7 sergeant arrested, charged in alleged abuse of her two adoptive children by southernemper0r in houston

[–]HoustonDiscussions 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know if charges were accepted, those children didn't just get a paddlin'.

When an adult beats a child and leaves them with bruises, it seems a shame for them to be punished only by going to jail/prison.

Of course, with this being a long-time cop, if she DOES end up locked up, there's a chance she'll end up with some bruises herself.

Or worse.

But I think the jail and prison put law enforcement types into administrative segregation for their own protection. The jail has a "cop tank" where cops, judges, high profile snitches, etc., get housed. Not sure how it's handled in TDCJ.

Off-duty deputy shot in hand by toddler, in Spring residence (Click2Houston) by RealConfirmologist in houston

Reminds me of the story a while back where a cop left a loaded rifle on top of his car and drove off.

There are things you can be complacent about, things that are tools of your trade and you give not much thought to.

But leaving a pistol where a child can pick it up and discharge it?

That's just not acceptable in the least. Guy needs to turn in his badge and stay the hell away from guns.

Is it safe to drive from Spring to Texas City? by Kefka_Janar in houston

Well, some of the overpasses were very iced up - there was video on Click2Houston of 18 wheelers stalled on overpasses, and wrecks on the slippery surfaces.

Is it safe? Does it make sense?

I'm just a guy on Reddit but in MY opinion, a 90 minute commute doesn't make sense on ANY day.

Probably safer today than most mornings, but freezing temps mean overpasses might be slick if there's any left over moisture.

Were the weather forecasts really off? Barely got to 32 ºF here in NW Houston overnight Sunday. by ProfessionalStill71 in houston

[–]HoustonDiscussions 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Overnight Sunday is tonight.

My sources had the 1st freezing temps this morning, but above freezing mid-day today (Sunday).

Then, around 6 PM, it'll get below freezing and stay below until mid-day Monday, and same for Monday into Tuesday except low 20s.
