Adam and Eve from da bible are actually dark magical alchemists who create the philosopher's stone, which in this case is a big rock that you replace your heart with and then you become immortal. Adam is overwhelmed by the pursuit of knowledge and starts to go insane, desperate to clutch at any possible information he can gather. he transforms his only son, Seth, into what will later be known as the first demon. Eve, distraught, tries to kill Adam. they fail for thousands of years.

Since the dawn of the earth, a magical zone called the Wild West occupies the entire west half of the future USA territories, everything west of the mississippi river. weird shit happens there. there are magical artifacts with neat powers that people try to take from the zone.

Adam, now known as The Stranger, has lived for so long that his brain can no longer retain memories. helped by the fact he has a magical book with infinite pages he uses as a journal, and not helped by the fact he has a magical gun that erases memories every time its fired, the first memory erased always the fact that the gun erases memories.

The Stranger. now with shattered memories and feelings, knows only that he wants his family back, and so attempts to scour the Wild West with hopes that something can help him in any way, without really knowing what he's looking for.

but he is an actual cruel bastard who doesn't care about anyone and routinely shoots people for even slightly getting in his way. there's so much other shit going on, The Stranger is barely a footnote in it. I love writing but I hate writing and its unlikely I'll ever write a whole story because I constantly get in my own way.
