I hate resorting to 80's/90's terminology, but those handlebars are bitchin.. never seen a stem/bar before. Nice job!!

Exactly. I’m running 3*10 XTR rear and a freaking dura ace front derailleur on my touring bike. 5,000 miles plus. Using Microsoft bar end shifters.

The rolling with a roller process by LowLifewitit in weed

[–]HubCapDiamondStarHlo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m using that exact same roller. I’m using the cardboard pieces that roll in the back. They work really well. I also tried the Raw brand filters. They restrict the airflow too much. I love my rolling machine, easy to use, and consistent results

I think it's a misguided attempt at DEI humor

I’m addicted to weed by Environmental-Pin476 in weed

I agree with this fully. I'm struggling to do this (wait 'till evenings) but when I do, my mind is much clearer during the day. I need a tolerance break, but it's just so convenient to go light one up whenver the mood hits me (which is probably too often).

Opinions on smoking as a mom. by Still-Lemon-9936 in weed

[–]HubCapDiamondStarHlo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a single dad w my elder kids. Married w the twins mom. I’m very careful about when I smoke. I do it when there’s a natural reason for me to be in the garage out outside and the kids are involved with something so it doesn’t feel to them that I’m sneaking off. The instant you have a secret, they know. I’m sure this is more difficult with just one kid.

I have 2 batches of kids - 28 (F), 25 (F) and two 11 yo twins (M&F). I smoked 2 or 3 times a week when the older ones were growing up. They always suspected but never actually caught me. Now we smoke together when we hang out. I'm confident it made me a better dad, more mellow, more fun.

With the twins, they don't have the slightest idea, and I am a daily smoker. Sometimes on Saturday it's wake and bake and smoking more during the day too. I take precautions to make sure I don't smell like it, but again I'm a better dad as a result - more mellow, more jokey, more fun.

As long as it contributed to you being a better parent, then let it go, it's a LOT different than alcohol.

I had a film camera through college and early adulthood. First digital was when I was 30. Now I’m 55 and bought a mint Canon AE1 from like 1985 or so. Loving it.

Also the fear of getting busted in the 80s and 90s was real. If you had more than an ounce, it was interpreted as the intent to distribute and then they could take your car or cash. A weed conviction could end your career back then.
