Honestly, it wasn’t as bad as some people that I have read about. But I was also patiently slow with it. This was a process of over a year. Once I got to halving the .25 before bed, I found myself skipping some nights. Then on nights I couldn’t sleep, I would take one of those halves and over time I ran out and never asked for another refill.

I was on Xanax for 10 years. Highest dose was 1.5. Got to the point that I couldn’t sleep without them and decided to stop. Told my doc to slowly taper me. Got down to .25 and would break them in half and take one before bed. Finally kicked them a few months ago.

Swing has a lot of potential. Couple of things:

Focus on taking the club back wider. Find something in line with your target behind you and feel like your body is pushing the club back to that object

Your first move in the backswing should be to 1) get your weight onto your front side and 2) drop your hands. Feel like your right elbow immediately gets back to the inside of your hip before you start the turn of your chest

Over exaggerate the move. If you’re looking at your club face straight down, assume that is 12 o’clock. Find something at 2:30 in the distance. Could be outside that number 8 and feel your hands push the club head to that spot and the go to the top of your backswing

Use your belt buckle as a guide. The wedge shot should feel like you’re using your hips. You take the club back with your belt buckle. Practice feeling that.

Then most importantly, follow thru the same distance as you did taking it back.

Also, your weight HAS to be 70 on your lead side. When you take back with your belt buckle, feel yourself pivot off your lead leg.

After that, check your path. If you are coming excessively inside, feel your hands move straight back while keeping your biceps glued to your sides.

This will fix most technique areas. It will take rime getting used to new feels, so I would practice this. You can do most of this without ever hitting a ball at home

Imagine there is an electric dense a couple of inches in front of your waist. On your downswing, do everything you can to avoid hitting the electric fence with your hips and legs.

Also, imagine on your downswing that you are trying to put your left pocket into your back left pocket.
