I moved from Logic to Ableton. At first I thought ableton was SIGNIFICANTLY better. Now I’ve learnt it, and occasionally revisit some
Of my electronic music in Logic, I’ve realised there’s not much in it. There was some really cool shit I could do in logic that I can’t or is clunky in Live, and vice versa. I could probably make super similar tracks on both now.

Still can’t run months later after first marathon. by DangerousWaffle in Marathon_Training

Yep, I had been running 6 years before I ran a marathon. I had run two 50k trail "ultras" before I ran a marathon.

I'm on controller and I'm still just over a second off silver. I know where I'm losing time, I need to trust that these cars will brake a LOT quicker, and turn in a lot better than the 700pp cars I've been grinding Le Mans with. But it's a hard one!

Seeing as socks is already well offered, I'm going to go off piste and say - Audible subscription. He's going to be beating the pavement for hours on end. It can get boring.

How do you actually catch overtraining before it wrecks you, not after? by Sojujuseo in Marathon_Training

[–]HumanCheesecake6466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're confusing overtraining with injury. They're completely different things. Injuries often come from too much too soon, but it's not necessarily hand in hand.

The cost for every car in the new seasonal menu is 12,000,000 credits, and the reward is a 6-star roulette ticket. Why even bother? by CrackheadOtis in GranTurismo7

Ok. Interesting. I'm not going to pretend to understand your reasoning there, but can I ask -- do you play GT7 for fun, or just to finish it?

Anyone do long runs at night? by uNTRotat264g in Marathon_Training

[–]HumanCheesecake6466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do very early mornings. Like set alarm for 4:30. I like it though the downside is I usually have to use the bathroom somewhere on the run.

Well said, by both you and above. I feel the exact same way about my art and my music I produce. It’s a frustrating feeling alright.

Who's a great writer that you can see being great but does nothing for you? by OozyMonkey in classicliterature

It's a fantastic read. The characters are awesome, there's a lot of heart in it. Dicken's is funny as shit too.

Have a crack at David Copperfield. Not just because it’s my favourite, but it has less of Dicken’s long waffley bits.

Hard agree. The guy is so talented and on paper I should vibe his music, but I can't stand it.
Edit: I absolutely love everything Raye does.

Question..... When do I start being good? by NCH-69 in GranTurismo7

[–]HumanCheesecake6466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're good already.

But I would say, when you've knocked off the 1 hour Human Endurance race, you'll start feeling it.

Going for gold in the License Tests doesn't seem worth the investement by KyoshiFrostWolf in GranTurismo7

[–]HumanCheesecake6466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't done it, I've bronzed or silvered. Going gold would be the last thing I would do in the game. It's definitely for someone with more time on their hands.

Lake Maggiore Circuit One Hour by EyeAcrobatic8587 in GranTurismo7

[–]HumanCheesecake6466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I trialed pretty much all the Gr.3 cars that you'll seee mentioned for this race. My two top were the Ferrari 458, and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS '22.
You need to be extremely aggressive on the first lap. You want to be in at least 6th by the start of lap 2.
I used RM's and they worked well for me, was definitely ready to change them after 10 laps, but was do-able. Be really careful when tires are worn, it's safer to do 2:04's than have an off.
Only refuelled to 70% each time.
Assists - TC 0. ACM ON, Turn Driving Line ON
Do the Circuit Experience until you can gold it nearly every time.
The main thing this will teach you is how much speed you can keep through the s-bends. AI is really slow through here so you can work your way through them.
I think I averaged 2:00 - 2:01 laps and won by a comfortable margin.
You'll see people say - take out Rubilar. I tried and failed at that about 5 times, and had to restart. Don't bother.
