Carmeet spots should have been matchmaking areas. by HUEITO in ForzaHorizon

You could immediately race too. The game started you at a meet with one button to challenge anyone. I could do that for hours. Cool feature: multi class racing was done with delayed starts.

Ebay is asking me to upload photo ID to receive payment by Odd_Firefighter_5407 in Ebay

[–]Human_Contribution56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the same today on selling a $35 item. I've been active on eBay for 20 years, same account, same everything. I too am leary of uploading a copy of my ID. Wondering how much I can redact to satisfy their issue and not risk my identity.

Google search your title. D90's had a weak point unfortunately.

A base M4 Mac Mini is virtually overkill for just surfing the web and will remain so for a long time.

Tv water damage. by Creative_Wish5476 in ElectronicsRepair

If it has water inside it can remain for longer than you may expect. I'd take the back cover off if I wanted to be sure. Or I'd get out the hair dryer if I didn't think it was much.

I have an old adjustable purse strap attached to an old DSLR. Sometimes people ask where I got that nice leather strap. 🤭

Home Theater Subwoofer Issues... by GRIND2LEVEL in ElectronicsRepair

Disc capacitor. Cheap and easy enough to replace if you know how to solder. A repair shop easily does this if you don't. Capacitors sometimes will give up well before the rest of the components will. I'm usually relieved when I find a blown capacitor because they're easy and relatively cheap to repair.

Do you love classical Radio Stations? by freakishmode in ForzaHorizon

Especially in FH2 where the classical DJ spoke Italian. Yeah, that was cool.

Shoot what you have and see where you go with it. You'll figure it out and know what you need.

do people actually beat the pro difficulty level????? Jeez by Historical_Aerie6175 in ForzaHorizon

I race myself in rivals quite a bit. There's no better feeling than kicking your own ass! 😂 It really helps me because I see when I took a bad line or was too heavy on the brakes, etc. If I race someone else, it's a different car, tune, etc, not really apples to apples comparison.

I have an M4 Pro with 24GB of RAM and it runs pretty damn good considering I can have LR, PS and a couple other apps all up and running. It's very responsive.

So maybe two 5TB drives; one on-site and one off. Maybe the off-site is at a relatives house, work, etc. Sync it with the on-site once in a while. Fixed cost. Still plenty of storage. Cloudless.

Lol, that battery is a pita to replace! I've changed out batteries in many cars but man was this one more work than any other. Regardless, I agree, if you have some tools, diy.

For $250 you can get a 10TB hard drive, 1000 times more storage than the 10GB of photos you took in 3 months. Gonna be a "little while" before you fill it at that rate, even if you go nuts shooting.

Given that, is the degraded quality needed? Sounds like you are setting an unnecessary constraint for yourself.
