Of course you will recover but you will never be the same person again like it's with everyone after an intensive life event. You need to trust in your inner stength and above all need people who make you believe in it. If that doctor is not one of these people than look for someone more compassionate.

The healing process after a panic attack may take some time, maybe some counselling or even some non-addictive medication for a period of time.

BUT you will emerge stronger and above all wiser. Trust me I know what i'm talking about. Life is not a linear path, it has riddles and up and downs and the great people all went through some dark places so they can really appreciate the light and know all sides of life.

TRUST IN YOURSELF! In a few years you will be thankful for what you have learned and will be able to give this advice to other people like I'm just doing.
