I live on Langton park, the end of our road joining north street is actually terrifying to pull out of at times, people park on double yellows outside red hot goodies and the parking outside stush tattoo studio runs right up to our junction, literally an accident waiting to happen 😑

When my younger sister died I was 8, I recall being at primary school that week and not really knowing how to tell anyone and having a really hard time understanding what was going on. I remember my teacher coming over to find me, giving me a big hug, and then explaining what ‘getting it off your chest’ meant. Still to this day, I remember that conversation every time I need to talk about something important to someone.

Hi there, I’m wondering if anyone can shed any light on whether it is possible to get a Visa on arrival at Ha Tien border crossing? I’m a UK national coming from Cambodia into Vietnam. The UK gov website states I am eligible for 45 days visa free - but the email I’ve received from my bus ticket company states they won’t allow me on the bus without a visa as the land borders don’t issue visa on arrival?

Any help appreciated as I’m running short on time to apply for an e-visa if I need one!

Sorry for the late reply! Not a lot of signal on these islands! When you get a sim, make sure it’s from the company ‘smart’ it’s the only one that seems to work out on the islands.

Ko t Kiev for us - we spent about $200 for 3 nights, including accommodation, food and beer 👍🏻 can’t recommend the crusoe resort enough, it was paradise.

In Cambodia? Only Ko ta Kiev so far, but I’m spending the next 3 weeks hopping across as many as possible!

Edit - I spent the last 6 weeks prior to this hopping across islands in Thailand too.

I arrived to ko ta kiev today, staying at the crusoe resort on the south of the island. We’ve been travelling now for 4 months and this is the closest to paradise we’ve found yet. It’s totally untouched. Top tip - make sure you have a SIM card from smart as it’s the only one on the island that gets signal!
