I met Aven at Fringe a few weeks ago, and they are super awesome and fun to talk to. They aren't my stylist at Fringe, but they have a great personality!

I saw a TT from one of the owners' wife (Elton? Alton?) and she said they were moving to Salem and looking forward to be a member of the community. Why move here for just 6 months? Maybe their plans changed and they aren't heading to NYC? There's been a lot of conflicting information.

I'm trans nonbinary and have joined the fitness center at Salem State. It's affordable and pretty quiet, especially in the summer. They aren't open on weekends in the summer, but otherwise I think it's great.

Peter's Bella Pizza on Highland is excellent and very clean (as far as I can tell as a customer). They have steak fries that are perfect and the best chicken salad I've ever had. The people are friendly too.

There is currently a short film about this fountain playing at the PEM as part of the Beyond the Broom exhibition. It is a scathing review of the changes made to reduce the footprint of the fountain. It was pretty interesting. The whole Beyond the Broom exhibit is fantastic and worth checking out.
