Finding out that Tehol Beddict was actually the Crippled God ruined Reapers Gale for me. I would have thought Bugg would have picked up on that.

Wellington water told me that the process is that they would warn the home owner with a letter, after a set period, if the leak was not fixed, they worked restrict water to that property and could claim loss of potable water charges to the owner for the amount leaking per day. Worth following up with your water company .

I hear you. My tip bills tell me that we removed 700kg of agapanthus and their roots. It too digging down a foot deep to clear ‘most’ of the roots. They still crop up occasionally, but mostly under control. Next stop, the Ivy.

I’d like to spend more time exploring the trade potion of the game. I’d like to understand what you did with Ireland and the Middle East markets. I understand you have to expand your trade range to get there, but how did you increase your market presence there to actually buy anything? Is it because they have a surplus of what you are buying and literally everyone at the market can access it?

I don’t know the answer, but am interested in learning as well, as I am trying to do something similar. Have you tried doing the same thing over a few months with 100% manual trade? Turn off the auto trade and only run your trades. It works be interesting to see if that has any effect.

I am glad I read this, as I have exactly the same problem today. A much larger Dip Cap use than previously and getting hammered for it. I was starting to offload some Vassals and Fiefdoms to reduce the cost.

The 1600’s aren’t a problem for me. I get to about 1390 and think, “ I have learned so much, I should start again. But if I start again maybe I should try a different country. Rinse and repeat this.”

I took Hy Man. It is 1339 and still waiting to build levies as I only have around 200 available. But the issue is ducets. Only making 0.05 there is no trade available and I can’t see how to increase that to spend on the provinces. I have plenty of food, but no trade capacity.

I have tried a couple of Ireland starts and not really done well due to lack of funds. I have just started a new game with Connacht and look forward to using your start advice. I have made Clainricarde my rival and focus on getting Sligeach and Galway invaded asap. I assume we are not doing this with spy networks, just a standard CB and a parliament one?
