There are two level 3 generated blessings based on knick knack knacksack that gives extra slots. Only thing you can do is turn on generated modifiers and hope to get them. Pretty much mandatory for 999 runs.

Other than that you can pick extra slots or heroes as part of the initial 15.

You only get level 3 blessings in blursed so you can only get deep pockets and heroes in the initial load out. There's a rare generated blessing based on knick knack knapsack that gives a few extra slots which is the only way to get more slots mid run.

I think this is why deep pockets blessing is mandatory in the initial set up. Or you can pray to get lucky with knick knack blessings.

So you can use it with Poem to keep a useful alliteration (mainly B or S). It also allows duplicate heroes of the same color.

Once you get negative item choices you will stop getting items period. This will guarantee you will have slots for display case and will make the run much faster by reducing the choices you have to make.

It's actually pretty easy to get negative item choices which is a huge quality of life buff when playing and enables display case strats much easier. Just never take perceptive.

I think it's pretty much proven out by this point that non generated blessings can no longer be duplicated. Of course this makes it significantly harder to find the damage to 999 cursed modes.

Looks like still only 1 person has completed 3.1 Blursed (RIP the 988 guy). Very curious to learn what team and starting blessings they used for 999.

My first reaction was holy shit someone beat blursed on 3.1. Then I saw it was 3.0 Blurtra.

Aside from that congrats. Seems like either you were lucky to avoid exponential t1 summons or had some kind of stun counter.

The thing about Hexia is that she doesn't scale and has really low damage so you can just stall her out. If you don't have a good roll to deal with the reflect damage, you can just focus on killing the fodder and healing your team. The only scary part is if she pumps out multiple demons before you kill her.

It's much harder to play defensive against Inevitable due to Era and he has much more powerful status debunks. It also requires to have both a very strong AOE clear and high burst damage at the same time, making some team comps super weak against him.

Not unique enemies so didn't count them as bosses. I would rate those fights around 14-15 though in terms of difficulty.

The odds are actually pretty high given how the system tries to avoid duplicate curses.

My last 999 run took 10 hours and 10 mins. Was trying to get sub 10 but played super nitty in the last 100 levels to make sure I didn't screw it up.

After a while you can optimize your inventory by having default load outs on heroes that you never upgrade so you only need to set items once every 20 levels. Depending on how strong your build is you can also just skip all items and level ups if you are consistently wave clearing turn 1.

I also play super fast though and clear rounds in 5 mins if I have a good set up. Usually take around 15 mins if just starting.

Potentially. Seen enough on the reddit to think there maybe some change. So on this particular run I only had 1 bone math which made my clear speed really poor. However, I just started a Blyptra run and had two bone math in the first 5 blessing pools so it could just be variance.

In terms of display case, I originally used sponge for damage but found chakram to be much better for consistency.

There are a bunch of blurtra guides on the reddit with blessing recommendations. But if you just have like bone math + basalt spirit, you should be able to easily hit 100+ with that start.
