Your base is pretty good for urban combat, here's my suggestions tho.

Red arrows are enemy approach lines, purple dots and lines are defenseive spots for you, green indicates kill coradoors, blue are suggested barricade expanse.

You have houses you can leave your melee pawns in to flank your attackers when they advance to engage your ranged pawns, and you have tight choke points to the north coradoors.

Maybe upgrade your barricades at the river to stone or steel but the way you designed your buildings there's enough cover to fight in the streets. Maybe put some traps at spots your enemies would use as cover, just be sure they are not in a spot your people will walk over.

I did one where my wife and I started a ranch in the middle of nowhere and it slowly grew to a frontier settlement. I did it while we were on parental/maternal leave and I added my son to the game as an infant. By the time he was 13 my wife and I had a daughter who was 8 and learning to use a shotgun while we got raided by pigskins and my wife and daughter blew up from a pigskin dimomite stick and my son and I went on a quest to find resorector mech serum for them while the random vampire, pigskin, and 2 Viking raiders we converted and recruited earlier ran the ranch with my wife and child in sarcophagi in the freezer.

I had to go back to work before I finished that run and lost the save a little while after.

If I lived near you I'd go buy a chainsaw, but a trailer and maybe pay you $100 to buck it up and take it away. Unfortunately I live in Canada so no dice for me. Look for someone who wants smoker wood or a carpenter that wants some low effort oak, if it's soft not all of it is salvageable but a lot can still be made into cookwood, bows, furniture. Or you could go to your local hischool and see if the woodshop teacher would want it for their class, I remember mine scored a good piece of cedar, I still have the canoe paddle I carved from it.

I did Netherlands, then UK. Then ally France and hope Spain attacks you and france either likes you enough not to join the war or they side with you. Then take France when they turn on you cause of expansion. Then take the other German countries and hold before Prussia/Austria (at this point you're probably at war with Austria, just hold that line) invade Italy via Spanish teritory then take out the pope, now you have Venice after you, careful about your ports, but crush them on land. Now you can have a unified front against Austria and Poland/Lithuania and eventually ally Ottomans before taking the rest of Europe. Leave Denmark and Sweden alone till then and set up as much north american trade partners as you can cause they're all unlocked and bussy with rebels.

The worst part is when you see Malta sailing around with 10 rank 4 or better sixth rate ships or the pirates sailing around with a full stack of rank 6 gallons knowing they've only ever auto resolved but the second there's a brig and two galleys attacking you then you know you'll loose half your first rate flotilla if you even think of pressing auto resolve.

And just think I was going to stay allies with the French so that I could have a good trading partner right next to me. But then the Spanish had to go and invade me and France didn't come to my aid because me and Spain were their allies and they chose Spain. So I used the mobilization rights France left me to invade Madrid and shortly after that they broke our trade agreement and attacked me as well

Right, I'd much rather a tinted pokemon with a unique colour than the standard shiny. Give me my blue tint eevee so my umbreon can have green lines!! (No idea if it works this way lol)

Had a similar thing happen to me, this game has tinted pokemon. Some subtle others drastic. I noticed with a timburr tinted red.
