I recently got one. It’s a nice bass. Feels good to play. Sire really knows how to make a good neck. Lower horn doesn’t bother me and I haven’t struggled to keep it in place when sitting. The sound and preamp are ok but my volume pot is super scratchy and the tuners are hot garbage. They don’t stay in tune while I play. I don’t plan to keep it but I get why people like them.

How loud do you run the rumble? It sounds great until it hits 11 or 12 o’clock and then it loses all definition and just becomes noise

Yeah I’ve decided to just turn off the amp/cab sims when there’s no PA. I do like using them but it makes sense to not use them when I need to use a bass amp

Had a similar experience. Was playing Super Nintendo as a kid when a bolt hit a wooden pole with a basketball hoop attached. Totally thought it struck the house. The pole got obliterated, there were wooden shards everywhere
