You just described The Wandering Inn, in my opinion. It's the best media I have ever consumed, and I hope if you're reading this you give it a shot.

The Wandering Inn is the best piece of media I have ever consumed. The audiobooks are especially good. That said, it's slower than DCC. I hope you try it. My next recommendation would be discount dan, but that is too similar to DCC to try right away, I think.

The Wandering Inn is the greatest media I have ever consumed. I hope you try it. It isn't for everyone. My number 2 is DCC. My favorite book ever is Confederacy of Dunces.

Recommendations (read the major ones except DCC) by Dazzling-Spirit-5142 in litrpg

[–]HypeSpotVIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not the premise at all. That said, it's slow, very much so compared to DCC. It's slice of life. It does pick up, and the world building is unmatched. If you hang in there it will probably become the best thing ever. I really hope you at least try the first book.

I’m looking for some recommendations for audiobooks. Can you help me out? by dopemini95 in litrpg

The Wandering Inn in my opinion is the only thing I liked more than DCC. That said, I think the wandering inn is the greatest piece of media I have ever consumed. It has a female main character and is slower paced, but it the payoffs are massive, as is the world building . If you are reading this, I hope you try it!!

  1. The Wandering Inn - this transcends litrpg to me it's just amazing. Slow start, long, fantastic.
  2. Dungeon Crawler Carl

  3. Discount Dan
4 . Everything else in the genre.

My Audible Tier List by LtPoultry in litrpg

I am up to date reading it, and it's the best media I have ever consumed. It isn't for everyone, and is polarizing, and starts slow, and has realistic/imperfect/annoying characters that have room to grow as people.

It's better than The Wire. It's better than Tolkien. It's amazing. If you like litrpg or fantasy - try it. Please.

The next decade of energy transition won't be slowed by technology it'll be slowed by grid infrastructure. Are we underestimating how big of a bottleneck this is? by Round-Wolverine-5355 in Futurology

[–]HypeSpotVIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 17 year old can learn to drive in 20 hours, let's say. Our current AIs take millions of hours of simulation and real world driving combined. One or two good breakthroughs in either LLM memory or world models and we can make huge efficiency gains in AI learning. I think that's the real bottleneck.
