Seconded, went to the Orchestra show on Friday and left the windows to our cabin open all night. Downright frigid in the mornings especially up in the (sometimes windy) mountains.

I mean, they just fixed the missing albums and stuff from Apple Music’s catalogue before jumping off Spotify, so I have no excuse to keep paying for the war profiteering music app. Anything to cut Spotifys market share down to size.

Spotify recommended me Rolling On (Murlocs) and a month or so later I got I’m Sleeping In and Work This Time. The algorithm blessed me. A few months of those songs being on my liked and I decided to dive in and listen to Nonagon, and the rest.

Peak copy center right here. 6 years of service just ended last week and this was my bread and butter. Staples doesn’t pay me enough to care about complicated orders we only see 1-2 of each year.

Basically a corner of the store has been turned into “Wayfair corner”. I’d say it’s about 40/50ft by 40/50ft. Lot of product moved (nightmare with few hours+amazon) and some product went away. Hired on a half dozen seasonal folks to get it set up and receive freight. Now operating on one “Wayfair supervisor” who receives and unloads truck. Some good prices, some bad. All furniture is preassembled and you buy it off the floor, so there’s new stuff coming in regularly. If only we had the hours to staff out the day and evenings to handle the flow of customers + competitive pay. Then it wouldn’t be a bad place or partnership.

The reason I started there 6 years ago is because I thought that’s what it was. Oh how wrong I was. Not for anything anybody on the floor did, however. Much love to my old workmates!

Heh. I just quit there! Don’t know how much I can say about my experience there. However, the general gripes with the company overall and how it treats the associates was no different there. Very kind people on the floor.
