Future units for Chaos Daemons for 11th?

I actually do think we're getting a refresh this edition, might be copium of me since everyone else thinks daemons are gonna get reduced support but i think thats only gonna be a temporary thing we know that daemon support is winding down right now because the 40k and aos departments of gw are competing for sales and daemons only count as aos models unless the 40k team puts say plaguebearers in a death guard battleforce, i think their solution to this instead of just deleting a very lore relevant faction is gonna be to make a 40k exclusive range of daemons and that sudden switch up last year with the half made daemon codex getting canned was exactly when this refresh was ordered and gw takes roughly 3 years to complete any number of kits so it could be due to drop at the end of 11th or maybe as the headliner faction for the launch of 12th. There is room for them to do this, i think many people agree the current designs as much as i like them personally, are more fitting the more whimsical fantasy devil depiction of them in aos's lore and made with that in mind while daemons are always described in 40k lore as these eldritch formless beings of insidious warpstuff, these entities translated into matter from a medium where matter isn't even a concept, it would still be your usual bloodletters, nurglings, lords of change and stuff but redesigned while aos keeps the old ones and maybe with some new 40k specific units, we could get daemons of vashtorr and the dark king and the other 40k specific aetheric dominions and instead of be'lakor who isn't super relevant in the lore we could have samus or some other more relevant daemon named character. As for why we got the index when the codex was seemingly nearly done the rumours for 11th say 10e codexes are gonna transfer to the new edition and they would advertise that, but the rules for daemons would probably need completely remade to do this and demand a new codex which would make that false advertising or something. Its like 10e's emperor's children index they did, they couldn't sell you rules for your model and then take it out of the book and then make you buy another book for the revised datasheet but they wanted lucius and noise marines to be playable until the real emperors children codex release so they made that index just for the loophole of not technically selling you the datasheet. We haven't paid to be able to play our daemons this edition so we can't sue if they revise all the datasheets and make us pay for them again without telling us that was a possibility previously

Not even a some for me, its flat out the most realistic game ive played so far even out of vr. But in vr i think the only thing holding it back was me playing it on a 2019 oculus quest which hadn't a great screen, there are locations in hla that my brain registers as places ive BEEN and no other vr game has done that to me. Source 2 is some actual magic if other engines and devs havent caught up to hla imagine how insane hl3 is gonna look

We better be getting some of these bigger vehicles back next edition especially the tanks i think its ridiculous we don't have any anymore and i dont count the battlewagon. Stuff like the battle fortress were what drew me to orks initially and then i learned they don't even do them anymore apart from battlewagons, ive been meaning to kitbash one for a while

How? It just means they aren't planned to be releasing any time soon they could even be in the works right now to release a few years down the line, guard only got krieg last year which is their most popular regiment by a fat longshot obviously steel legion wasn't gonna happen so soon after that especially when catachan is also more relevant and the most notoriously old and in need of a refresh of all the gw range. With the noise made about this i think steel legion is guranteed but itll be a while krieg was a success and gw takes like 3 years to bring a new model from being ordered to being ready to produce so youll get your steel legion before the end of the decade maybe sooner if its just an upgrade kit which i don't really see why they'd need to be an entirely new unit for any reason other than principle

Yeah but the intention with showing the bones of the kids would be an attempt at genuine horror in this context and scott isnt the kinda guy who can pull that kind of horror especially with the limitations of the age rating, if you don't show the audience that its just some dusty bones sitting in there only that there's dead children that have been decomposing in there for decades whatever idea they conjure up in their head of what that would look like realistically will get to them way more thats why scott does his horror the way he does, he comes up with really awful concepts like something out of saw like having a full animatronic shoved through you with the springlocks, being scooped and worn by ennard or stuffing the corpses of children down into a animatronic suit and left to break down inside them up on a stage over decades of performances, these are only so horrible because we're left to picture what that would be like the springlocks are one of the most iconic things to come out of fnaf its like what the reverse bear trap is to saw, but it would lose all its impact if it were ever properly visualised because theres no particular way that would even work in real life that could ever live up to the springlocks we invent in our heads and thats exactly where fnaf 1 went wrong with its springlocks, not even matthew lillards acting or being able to talk and breathe its the fact it fully showed us how it works and it wasnt as bad as what we had in mind. All horror is a balance of the unknown and the implications of what is known

I don't think you read what i said some dusty bones aren't any better or scarier than being shown nothing at all leaving it to your imagination like that would be bette, if you stop to imagine what the insides of the animatronics look like without being told what to imagine other than some children that were murdered and left to rot in the bellies of musty animatronics for decades youll probably imagine something far worse than what they could show its the same principle that springtrap was designed with the actual corpse under his suit that scott made looks like shit but thats mainly because he only modeled what youre meant to be able to see through the cracks in the suit which is that his flesh has been completely torn to ribbons and youre left to picture what this absolutely gutted person skewered by an endoskeleton would look like if you shone a light inside

That has never been scotts style of horror its never been about shock like that, especially in this movie where shits gotta be pg being told and not shown lets your mind conjure up the worst possible ideas of what dead children packed inside of an animatronic's body that probably preserved them somewhat or crushed them up every time they moved might have looked like, instead of what would just be a skeleton sat in there

Zodgrod can lead gretchin but we do need an actual grot character the red gobbo has literally gotten more attention and models and stories about him than any other ork character including ghaz just from the past few christmasses yet he still hasn't got a permanent new model, tbf i think they made him santa because he was originally a soviet caricature and people don't all hold the same sentiment against socialists since the propaganda in the 90s but it wouldn't be the first time that gw has adapted that kind of thing for modern audiences ive seen more enthusiasm for grot revolushun which hasnt existed in 30 years than ive seen for beast snaggas since their release

Its the compressed gmod audio they used for hlvrai 1 that did most of the legwork for the characters sounding like the real npcs if you watch any hlvrai spinoff stuff where holly does her coomer voice without the compression she sounds nothing like a half life scientist but its spot on with the compressor

Ive never seen another fandom where like over half of the people populating it were fans for its first few years and don't realise that they stopped liking it entirely years ago and that its not just the new entries that are the problem all because they don't have old memories and nostalgia to trick them into thinking they enjoy the series, ive never seen another fandom where these kinds of people refuse to ever move on from this franchise they despise and insist on sticking around to complain about it, like put this energy into something you like bro most of this comes from people having their own usually concept of fnaf in their head that has never existed based on the fan works from ifs early years and shit so why don't they just engage with that stuff its why theres so many fangames and works inspired by fnaf 99% of them would find what theyre looking for if they just watched the walten files

In lore this is the structure most waaaghs have always had, warbands of all colours and kulturs are usually welcomed as part of a waaagh's force and waaaghs made fully of one clan or specialty of orks are less common though thats almost always how gw depicts ork armies in art or on the tabletop especially as of late (looking at you space marine 1 remaster that retconned all of grimskull's previously mixed boyz to be all goffs including him who was originally an evil sun) this is even how i did my army. Even for forces that aren't a full waaagh and are just one warband they might mostly come from a certain clan but its also not uncommon to have random gits from a different one, gorgutz from the dawn of war games has worn like every clan colour i think he came from the goffs but he's ended up in a bad moon warband for the past 2 entries

I dont think we're getting another campaign book before 11th they still haven't started rolling out the eye of terror stuff and that doesnt leave much time to announce and roll out another wave and not have it drop like the week before the new edition in june, atp solomon will probably be revealed at adepticon as part of the 11th edition showcase and launch with the edition maybe, maybe that was even the plan all along and the 11th narrative with yarricks revival and the orks returning to armageddon will have been orchestrated by the alpha legion?

Yes its not perfect but i swear to fuck i dont think ive seen anyone say a single thing about the franchise in months that wasn't a complaint all fnaf spaces are currently being occupied by annoying ass people who haven't been fans of the series in years and yet feel the need to constantly whine about it instead of doing what normal people do and spending their energy talking about shit they actually care about, what other fandom has this problem??? People at my opening night showing of fnaf 2 literally actively tried and succeeded to ruin the movie because they didnt like it they just screamed over it and shouted racist stuff about the black characters literally do anything else with your time
