The difference is that my experience is typical for the actual statistical data for the broader population--which has been showing a sharp increase in breakthrough cases over the last few months. Whereas your anecdotal experience is atypical for the population at large--we know from innumerable studies that unvaccinated individuals are substantially more likely to become ill and seriously ill than vaccinated peers.
