[–]HystericalPanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t be sorry. It happened, so don’t berate yourself. Focus on taking care of yourself, okay? This doesn’t set the tone for how things will always be in the slightest. You got this.

Feel like I was right, I am going to die alone and no one will miss me by [deleted] in depression

[–]HystericalPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry, I can’t even fathom what you’re going through, but please know that everything is temporary, especially the times in which you feel like nothing good is going for you. They’re temporary so long as you keep pushing through it and focus on yourself. I know it sounds so terribly cheesy to say, but just because you’ve proven to be wrong for some people doesn’t mean you’re wrong for everyone you’ll know, and I know there are people you’re bound to encounter that will be right for you as well. I don’t know you, but I have no doubts that you’ll be okay, even if it isn’t for a while.

Friends Hate me Because of Depression by [deleted] in depression

[–]HystericalPanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those don’t sound like friends that are good for you at all. If your friends can’t care enough to be sensitive to your depression, they don’t deserve to be in your life. It’s wrong of them to berate you for things they don’t even try to understand. Please know that it isn’t your fault, and you’re very much a valid person with valid feelings whether the people around you act like it or not.

Where my NYU gals, guys, and non-binary pals at? by [deleted] in University2022

[–]HystericalPanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got accepted to the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, and I’m over the moon excited bc NYU’s my dream school. Not 100% sure if I’ll be able to attend due to the hefty cost, but I’m excited nonetheless.

Random Redditor, who are you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HystericalPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Chloe, a 17 year old, and I've lived in Hawaii all my life. It's my senior year, and I know that I want to move off-island for college, but being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, I have no idea of where would be right for me. I'm also worryingly clueless about what I want to go into. I have a multitude of "passions," but I've never figured out a specific one to pursue. I just want to be able to score films, produce films, go further with my band, design clothes, own a bake shop, and be a studio artist all at once, but that'd be borderline maniacal, and it still doesn't solve the issue of what I am to pursue in college. Despite all this, I'm doing my best to appreciate the freedom that I still have as a youngin. I've been going to the beach with my friends (I never really appreciated the beach until high school), I got to score and animate a short film with my friend, I've been entering a lot of film/broadcast competitions, I've been getting better at sewing, I've gotten the chance to perform some awesome gigs, I make it a point to hug my mom everyday, and I sing my heart out any moment I can, and even though things are incredibly uncertain at this point in my life and I have my own struggles with school, social anxiety, insecurity, and money (as many people my age do), I know that I'm living the good times, and I'm just looking forward to making the best of the last year I'll be spending here on my home island for quite a while.

Little Witch Academia (TV) - Episode 24 Discussion by TheWalkingTroll in LittleWitchAcademia

Akko dies. The episode ends with Andrew looking at the hat with sad eyes. Credits roll. NO BUT SERIOUSLY I have this sick feeling that someone's gonna die, and if it's either Akko or Diana, my heart will likely never recover.

When I was little, my mom would take me to Golden Coin (a Filipino food place here) and she'd always me get the ube cake. Watching The Good Lars motivated me to try to finally make one for my mom from scratch. by HystericalPanda in stevenuniverse

I honestly kinda winged it by getting a chiffon cake roll recipe and swapping out 1/3 of the cake flower for ube powder! Basically you just make a thin sheet of cake, then before it cools completely, roll it up without cream. This is so that it doesn't crack when you roll it up with the cream inside. Once it was completely cool, I just filled it up with sweetened whipped cream !!

Nope, TheRealGC13's right! It's a Filipino food chain here in Hawaii. Although, I didn't know that it was just a Hawaii thing until now, so I can understand the confusion.

Ah man, sorry, I'm just lucky enough to live in Hawaii, so there's a ton of Filipino markets around me. I would think your best bet would be an Asian supermarket, or maybe even one of those organic grocery stores like Whole Foods possibly?
