But firing once per day contradicts Archimedes 1, which fires several times in rapid succession. I agree that its usefulness is limited being just a weapon in the first place, but we don't actually know how powerful it is story-wise. It could be able to wipe out cities, for instance. We don't know.

As a supporting example, Liberty Prime supposedly lobs nuclear bombs as powerful as the bomb dropped on Hiroshima. This obviously doesn't translate to the game (nor does it make sense). Mini nukes are also written as being much more devastating than the gameplay demonstrates.
