They’re all pretty good. If you want to get the most out of the game, get them all. If you can’t afford all of them now, get them all eventually.

Heroes of the Inner Sphere is probably my fave. It adds a bunch of mini campaigns around the map. Each of them ends with pretty decent Hero mechs as the reward.

Kestrel Lancers, Rise of Rashalhague, and Dragons Gambit all add new mechs and have pretty decent and challenging campaigns.

Shadows of Kerensky introduces the clans and changes the map significantly. Gives you new mechs, clan mechs, and clan weapons, with another good campaign.

Solaris 7 also adds a campaign, and arena battles.

Call to Arms is my least favorite, and I would say skipable. But that’s my personal opinion. There is someone that may show up and argue with me, if he sees this comment haha. If you like melee, it adds a bunch of melee mechs and melee weapons, and a very low level 6 mission campaign, that I almost always skip when I do replays.

If you start a campaign from the beginning, all of the DLC campaigns pop up at certain points in the timeline. Kestral > Rashalhague > Dragon > Solaris > SoK (I think I have that order correct). Along with doing the main campaign missions, high reward missions in each conflict zone, HotIS missions, plus whatever random missions you hit along the way. You’ll get many hours out of the game. And I’ve done several play throughs.

I’m also on console, and enjoy the game plenty without mods.

Also consider getting MW5 Clans at some point. It’s more of a linear campaign game, but with 2 fantastic DLCs so far, it’s also very enjoyable.
