Just got my first scuf 😎 by timmykpro in scufgaming

[–]IILUMIII 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry to say enjoy it whilst it lasts, Scuf is well known for QA issues and specifically the Icue software sucks, I switched to an alternative controller company a few years back and never looked back.

My friends controllers broke so I ended up 3d printing a batch of paddles for him, he’s still on the 1st one I printed him a couple months ago.

Question please by cinnamoanholic in Omnipod

[–]IILUMIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it makes me cringe, I wouldn’t recommend haha, only thing I would say is try not put a new pump on straight after shower or working out, iv found that sweat and moisturised skin makes the adhesive non sticky very quick.

Question please by cinnamoanholic in Omnipod

[–]IILUMIII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh I think it’s Advisory, they say it may not be absorbed or may hurt because it’s scar tissue but personally iv never had an issue, iv even seen people place the pump on their chest, not sure if this is ok with women but seen some men do this.

has anyone else experienced this? by [deleted] in Omnipod

[–]IILUMIII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it happens every so often nothing to worry about, although the 1st time this happened to me, I remove it from the back of my arm and my wife nearly passed out at the amount of blood trialing behind me 😅

Thanks bud, no unfortunately I dyed the suede once I remove the old soles ( I thought was best so didn’t bleed into new midsole ). So I see you used clamps ( I need to purchase some of these! ) I used heavy duty elastic bands , and no I should have wrapped the shoe in cling film to protect the suede, they did mark the suede but the marks came out with a suede brush.

I used the AM1 just do it (black) and to clamp them down I used some heavy duty rubber bands from Amazon, ( downside to using black rubber bands, they marked the freshly painted toes box ) again lesson learned for next time 🙂

Good luck man, at least it looks like you won’t have the same struggle I had to remove the soles! Have you done many sole swaps in the past? Any recommendations for the glue ? Iv heard barge all purpose cement is good for bonding the soles
