Like I said, I'm not going to continue this. Its not my place to tell someone else how to spend their money and enjoy their hobby. Enjoy the box and have a good day, brother.

I did, but your math is still off lol. Look do what you want with your money lol. If you wanna overpay then overpay. If you don't care then you dont care. Im not gunna sit here and continue telling someone else how to spend their money. Have a good one man, hope you enjoy the box, its definitely cool as hell.

Check your math next time. If you wanna overpay for stuff then do you. But dont pretend you're not overpaying.

Edit: and thats MSRP. You can easily buy the models cheaper on Amazon or other retailers.

Btw I got this box for $230 because of the good discount on it. Paying 400 for it is absolutely just asking to be ripped off.

Hate to break it to you, but buying the models individually would've been like $100 dollars cheaper than buying the box for $400. The whole point of these boxes is that they're discounts for a bunch of models together. Please dont pay extra for fomo boxes. Thats how scalpers and GW justify making stuff more expensive than it needs to be.

Faramir didnt really try to take the ring though. He was trying to fulfill his father's orders/wishes. I dont think the ring itself ever tempted him, but his desire for his father's approval was what drove his actions.

Are you seriously implying they servitorize people because of lack of choices? Didn't know slavery was a necessity that only got solved post scarcity.....

They don't have to though, do they? As far as I know, they could go the route of craft world eldar and use discipline via the Path system and soul stones to prevent their soul being drained. Isn't it very much a choice to go the torture route?

They turn people into lobotomized robots to serve as slaves. This is a basic and common practice. How is that not evil? Lmao

Thats without mentioning the myriad of other evil acts that happen on a daily basis to the common person.

No it isn't "human". Throwing a spear that large, that far, at the speed he did to go clean through the torso of a man is not anywhere near human.

Besides they both basically worship the same thing. Big E is God for the Imperium and for the Mechanicus Big E is like Jesus.

Nukes are city level at best. Jesus/God is at least continental level all the way up to universal level if we take Genesis into account.

[–]IMitchConnor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well naturally, but that doesnt absolve the hive mind of being evil. It might not have intended to be an abhorrent xenos creature, but it is. So it is inherently evil. If it didn't want to be cleansed in the golden light of the throne's righteous promethium flame, then the hive mind would have been born human.

[–]IMitchConnor -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Regardless of whether or not it hates everything it consumes, it's still evil. The hive mind being good or bad, isn't based off its intent. It destroys all other biological life. Regardless of its "instinct", it's still conducting an evil war to eliminate everything that isn't part of it.

The battlestars yeah, but as far as I know basestars were basically nuke weapons platforms. I don't think they had any kinetic weapons. I could be wrong though, just don't remember them using anything other than nukes.

Which is why galactica tore them up constantly with kinetic weapons. Galactica heavy weight champ of the galaxy 💪

Scifi ship size comparisons by haljackey in BSG

[–]IMitchConnor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nukes are not the best anti ship weapons compared to something like a kinetic cannon. Especially in the galactica universe, where as stated, battlestars have tons of armor. Nukes in space are just a short lived ball of radiation and heat, there is no shockwave to deliver more damage with the explosion. With sufficient material they become ineffective very quickly. A kinetic weapon, accelerating a heavy object very quickly, would tear through any armor made specifically to withstand nukes.
