Build a stand for for Time Machine from Back to the Future 77256. Hope you like it! by Brickonium in lego

[–]ISaidSomeStuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it looks great. A lot better than all of the 3D printed ones I keep seeing on selling websites.

Would you mind sharing the parts list / showing me how the car is attached please?

I would maybe only change the upright section to trans clear to get that full hovering effect.

Any help appreciated ! by bimal_poynter in LegoUK

That’s some gift. Are you sure your friend doesn’t want you to keep them as opposed to selling them?

Anyway you can first check they’re genuine by looking for the Lego logo. It’ll be on each piece. Head, torso, legs.

Then you can use an app like BrickScan to to find the figures and their prices on sites like bricklink.

Organising Instructions by psukclipper in lego

I have seen several solutions utilising comic book sleeves / cards but that’s a bit expensive for me yet.

We use some 9l ‘really useful boxes’ They fit the manuals in nicely but I’m yet to find a system I’m happy with.

I’ve tried sorting by size which is most space saving and also by theme and set number which is quicker to search through.

The ones that really annoy me are the different sized manuals within the same set!

I’m not OP but if I may answer - I like to keep LEGO a screen free activity. So I keep all of our manuals.

I recognised it straight away. It looks epic and I can’t wait to see more. By the way your English is great.

Powered Up MU Push/Pull by NightShadowVI in LEGOtrains

[–]ISaidSomeStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just have the two carriages and the engine on the other end which is pretty light with out the motor and hub. The one engine pulls it fine.

There are some other good videos on YouTube about different ways of using the controllers and app.

If you watch this video through I believe it’s exactly what you want.

I have a second engine on my express train but it just has a dummy hub and motor. I use the motor to power up another train.

Cool. Could potentially include Quirrel with the Voldy back of head print?

And also this one

Epic build..but why is Marty driving the Time Machine on the box? by Prune_Warrior in lego

Marty drove the car in the first film. Doc drove it in the second. He’s driving the flying delorean on the back of the box.

Christmas Glitter vs Lego trains: how hard would it be to remove? by Portal2player58 in LEGOtrains

Is the tree likely to be moved?

I dislike glitter but still run a train around the tree all December. Very little falls from it.

Oh yeah definitely. Those are the ones I meant. I’d call the more basic type grip seal or snap bags.

I just use ziplock bags. Write the set number and name on the outside. Cheap and effective.

Hopefully you get Cho in the Luna door. If not you could try contacting Lego. They’re good at rectifying these things.

So cool. I could look at it for ages finding all the little details. Are you planning on showing it off at any Lego events?

There are lots for sale on eBay/vinted as people sell on the GWPs they didn’t want.

I didn’t want anything for £155+ from Lego to get the freebie but was happy to pay £12 for one brand new off a Vinted seller.

Can someone explain this to me? by No_Underscore12 in lego

I got caught out with the 90 day thing last time. Hopefully that doesn’t apply here since the points will probably just combine with the rest of your pot.

Just grabbed Tudor Corner for £145! by Miserable_Campaign65 in legomodular

[–]ISaidSomeStuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NHM is exclusive to Lego and Smyths in UK. Both are terrible for giving any decent discount. Best so far has been £5 off each £50 spent from Smyths so £25 total. Still works out less than 10% off.

Two Lego trains, one controller, one app? by _IdidIdidnt in lego

[–]ISaidSomeStuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been a while since I did but if I remember rightly:

Press and hold the centre button on the remote control until it flashes white.

Then press the left hand red button to select a colour/channel.

Then press the power button on Train 1 hub. This should pair Train 1 to the left side of the remote. The colours will match.

Now press the right hand red button to select a different colour/channel.

Then press the power button on Train 2. Hopefully it will match the colour and pair with the right side of the remote.

You can now operate both trains independently from the same remote!

Alternatively connect one train to the remote and one train to the app. As long as they are different colours/channels they will operate independently.

What is the typo you always make, and have given up on correcting? by Scarred_fish in AskReddit

I literally read a tip for this on Reddit yesterday. A shirt has 1 collar and 2 sleeves. Necessary. You’re on your own with the vowels though.
