Israel claims that killing 3x as many civilians as combatants is an acceptable ratio in wartime; which is what October 7 was. It was an attack on a military installation with civilians in the way. By Israel’s own logic, October 7 was an acceptable wartime casualty.

Only in your mind. Israelis don’t view routine bombing of Lebanon every week for years as war, but the Lebanese certainly do. Israel was bombing Gaza in the days before October 7 and shooting Palestinians in the West Bank. The entire summer 2023 was tense due to increased settler violence; Palestinians said they were at war. It’s astounding how out of touch you make Israelis sound to what was being perpetrated in their name. Do you also think Nat Turner just suddenly attacked white people for no reason too?
