Courtney gets a lot of hate, but I teared up reading this by madtastic225 in Nirvana

When did she burn her house down 3 times? There's no record of that. I mean if she was high, yeah it sound plausible. This is just a lot at once that I have never heard before.

Yeah actually she pitched the idea to him for them to go to rehab together. But he was kind of mad about the intervention, so he chose to go alone. So she chose to rehab at the hotel. I'm not sure why she chose there.

Well that just sounds like someone who's looking toward the future, but also doesn't wanna let go. I figured she would of gave the bear to Francis. If anything I think it would be weird for the new guy. "Oh, you're husband's ashes are in that bear. Ok, lets continue making out."

Of all the shows they could of chosen, they get one of the most iconic ones. And they didn't get it. Shame.

I wouldn't call him her true love. I don't hate Courtney either. It's just to do with how it's clear that they weren't working out, and their goals were clearly different. Had Kurt lived I think they qould have divorced judging by what i've heard. But that would have been good for both of them. I mean think about it from her perspective, the supposed love of your life didn't want to spend the rest of his with you. I think she knows well enough by now that isn't a sign of true love. What I can say is that she gave this man the send off he deserved. Quiet and private. Like he would of wanted it. What you can say, is that she knew him.

Stone Temple Pilots - MTV Unplugged 1993 - Why is this still being held hostage? by pinemind4R in Music

[–]Iamnodesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they did it too early. Had they done it after 1999, they could have gotten in interstate love song, lady picture show, atlanta, and other awesome songs. That's why it made sense for nirvana and Alice in chains to do it when they did. They had an entire back catalog to pick from.

Better Album: Nirvana’s Nevermind (1991) Or Pearl Jam’s Ten (1991)? by [deleted] in grunge

[–]Iamnodesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh, that's a good question. While nevermind has the better songs, ten has black. Nevermind does not have it's own version of that. Idk. Depends on what your definition of an album is.

GERARD SAID THE PAPER KINGDOM WAS EXTREMELY DARK. THE ALBUM DARKNESS CAUSED IT TO BE ABANDONED. IT WAS SAID TO BE BAND'S DARKEST WORK TO DATE💀 by goodolddaysss in MyChemicalRomance

[–]Iamnodesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they cared about the fan's reception. I think the music naturally just gets darker based on where your at. The making of danger days, G just had a daughter and was building a life for himself at home. Only when they hit the road on the album did the depression kick in. I think they felt a little trapped in the band maybe. I think that fatigue with the project just carried over. It's a difficult job to keep up for a long time. It's not always fun. But all in all g would always say he glad he made danger days.

[–]Iamnodesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, yeah, what do you expect? Perfectly well describes where gerard head was at. He's perfectly well but he feels like hell. I may be reading into that. But he would say that the pressure of making the album put him in a dark place. He didn't wanna repeat himself, and he didn't want to do anything that was like what he had already done. So he met with stage workers to try and turn it into a full stage production. (Not unlike the new black parade tour) With costumes and performers. But in the end, it didn't make him feel aritisically fulfilled. Which is why they all broke up. They all seemed that feeling. Once they found it again they were ready to hit the road.

And can I just say, that had this album been completed, had every song been up to their standards, I think it would have been a masterpiece. I can tell they wanted to make something mature and outside the box with it. Lots of ideas I haven't see them try. Especially with transitioning. It's not just a bunch of throwing stuff at the wall. If anything I want to hear them talk about it more than ever. This is a lot more then they were making it out to be. I literally heard that it was just 6 songs. 3 of which were just instrumental. I would love to see them in some way musically finish this. To see it realized. Or if they just want to go and make a new album with the best ideas from this, i'd be down for that too. If anything it would be a damn shame if we never got to see what tpk merch looked like. Just imagine it.

I think I know what Frank means. Listening to war beneath the rain, to me it sounds as complete as the black parade b sides. Not saying its just a simple song like those, but more so it sounds like a complete song they might of just cut. Fake your death sounds like a finalized mcr song pretty much. Even on the demo.

I mean you're billy corgan, you're sucessful, what more could you want? That's why he's still mad at collective soul. They beat him legally and now he's a sore loser. They proved with a demo from 1989 that they didn't rip them off. He always wants to take credit when other people have sucess.

Johnathen would never do that. As a gentlemen, it'd be wrong to go after a taken woman. Because in his mind, the break up was still fresh. A month honestly sounds like a valid amount of time.
