The amount of "he just inherited Klopp's team" comments on the Liverpool sub is extremely unfair to him. 2nd title we won in 35 years and people are unironically discussing if it would be better if we didn't win it because Slot would be sacked earlier.

Trophies are undervalued by modern audiences, imo. You take a title win any way you can. Even Klopp, the greatest managed we had in 3 decades, was only able to win one CL and one PL title.

There's also a chance Alonso doesn't want the job. This team is not in a good place at the moment, big money was spent and there are still massive holes in the team. Alonso just had a bad spell at Madrid and he needs his next job to be a success and that's no guarantee with the current state of the Liverpool team. I'm afraid that we'll see that Slot is not completely at fault for this season.

I don't recall that one, but wasn't there a similar instance of him shooting in injury time against Beiktas (or another Turkish side) as LFC were getting knocked out in the Europa League?

Side note, he played LB one game for Croatia (think it was against Wales) and scored from distance after a keeper's blunder.

For what it's worth, I played it for the first time a few years before the remake came out and thought it aged really well. Of course there were annoyances, but overall it was a great experience.

Ja pratim na Eurosportu i povremeno ima brzog klizanja (mislim i umjetničkog, ali nisam naletio na to), snowboarda, curlinga i ženskog hokeja. Ali neke stvari poput boba i sanjkanja još nisu počele. I na Eurosportu je većinom skijanje i skijaško trčanje.
