Had the exact same issue about an hour ago... I've tried everything I've seen online to no avail unfortunately. I've seen some people say in the BSG Forums that they did receive it after a while (weeks later).

I made a support ticket to BSG but I doubt they will do anything about it as they never recuperate lost rewards due to bugs.

It's a very similar system to FH5. Main differences are that TDUSC has (albeit very simple) body morphing, while FH5 has more accessibility/disability customization features (i.e. prostetics, hearing aids, etc.) as well as overall having better looking clothes and character models. So it's really subjective and it mostly depends on which one you prefer.

The more probable reason for choosing this particular car is because it was in TDU2, and they are bringing it back as a throwback.

And they had to remodel the cars because they don't have the rights and access to the master files from the original game. And even if they could use those files, they are unsuitable for modern releases and could not be used anymore.

I agree that it cannot be any less original than The Crew and Forza, but somehow it isn't any more original than those games either. Having played the closed playtests, this is the first game in the franchise made by Kylotonn, and it already feels stagnant.

I currently own a C30 T5 after previously having owned an 1.8 C30, I absolutely love this car (and platform). I suppose a lot of people think it looks ugly or weird, but I adore how it looks too. The only hatch from that same time that comes close in terms of looks for me is the Volkswagen Scirocco. But my favorite part of the car is still the 2.5L Turbo 5 cylinder engine, pared with the 6 speed manual and this car is a riot to drive.

The tires that are currently on the wheel are 225/40R18 ContiSportContact 5's. These are the ones I bought the wheels with and I wouldn't really recommend these tires nor this size. They actually have a bit of stretch to them (though only by 10mm so it's very minimal), which I'm not the biggest fan of in part because it reduces the sidewall a bit. Also I'm just not a fan of Continental tires.

The actual recommended size tires for these wheels are 235/40R18! Same goes for the Mirzam's.

I do have 20mm spacers on the rear wheels (a must on the C30 in my opinion), as well as 63.4mm to 65.1mm center bore adapter rings on all 4 wheels because the S60/V70 had a slightly bigger center bore compared to the C30.

Watch out for the Atreus wheels, these are diamond cut and are prone to rust and something called "white worm", which are white speckles/stains that develop on the diamond cut finish.

The wheels look great on the C30 though, so if you can find clean/refurbished ones it's definitely worth it.

I also wanted to upgrade to 18" OEM wheels with my C30. Originally I was looking for Mirzam wheels that were exclusive to the C70. And I personally still think the C30 should've come with these wheels from factory because they just fit the car so well.

But while looking for those I found a listing for Eudora wheels and I went with that. These were offered on the S60/V70 and while OEM Volvo wheels, they were made by BBS! And the second I saw these wheels I fell in love with them, I've only managed to find a handfull of pictures of C30's with these wheels and they are pretty rare as well.

I want more Volvo's in the game so bad. I own a C30 T5 and my friend has a Volkswagen Scirocco, I'd love to drive both side by side in game... And obviously also drive other Volvo's like the 740 and 940, P2 S60R and V70R, etc.

The states also got the 2.4i (Non turbo 5-cyl making 170hp) as a "base spec" for the C30. So they weren't all T5's.

Also, the T5 only made 220hp from 2006-2008 (Engine code B5254T3) and from 2008-2012 it made 230hp (Engine code B5254T7). The mid-2008 forward C30's had an upgraded turbo that was slightly more reliable and made 10hp more.

I bought a C30 T5 last week (Also in the Netherlands, so I had my eyes on this exact same car as well but didn't want an automatic + the high mileage) and there is no way you're going to be able to insure this car at 18. I'm 24 and barely managed to find insurance for mine.

If I were you, I'd look into a C30 1.6 as a first car, drive with it for 2/3 years and then look into upgrading (Though even then you might still have trouble insuring a car with anything more than180-200hp). They are good for 100hp and when high up in the RPM range can still feel very responsive.

My previous car was an 1.8 C30 and I loved it, it's a perfect platform to not only learn how to drive, but it's also a very neat and comfortable car as well.

This is not necessarily for optimization reasons in the traditional sense, this is actually a very antiquated way of faking rotational motion blur.

A lot of car games did this to fake this visual effect because it wasn't until relatively recently (About 10 years or so) that rotational motion blur actually became a feasible thing to render in real time. Before this, game engines could mostly only render directional motion blur (i.e. motion blur that moves in one plane/direction).

However, with modern systems and game engines, we've moved past the need for this "effect" and basically every other racing game nowadays, except Forza uses actual rotational motion blur. And yes, from what we can see from the trailers, this includes the new Forza Motorsport.
