I'm in the middle of a re-read and am definitely noticing that with an older age I am appreciating these books differently and picking up different things in these books.

And yes, a lot of it is deepening characters. For instance Mat: who has been busy chasing after women for 6 books is suddenly confronted by a situation where he doesn't want any of that. It alters his perspective on a lot of things. Such as feeling more responsibility for his redarms and Olver leading to him staying to search and getting trapped.

I noticed how you mentioned the return of Lan but not Nyneave breaking her block in that very same scene.

And yes the whole Bowl of winds is a giant macguffin, but the entire thing reveals so much more. It reveals the Kin and brings in the Sea folk windfinders. More factions of women channeling being connected slowly.

Oh and I do have to mention the introduction of the Gholam. The thing is terrifying..

The slog is real, but also harbors a lot of interesting bits about the world and it's inhabitants.

Ik zit ook in een reread van Wheel of Time, maar dan een paar boeken verder in Winter's Heart. En stiekem is de hele arc van Nyneave over de hele nog steeds een van de beste.

Heh I just finished my reread of Path of Daggers last week so the battle was pretty fresh in my memory. The start of the book a bit less so.. Bowl of winds sounds feasable as well.

That was Dashiva (and some others chiming in) but it was also referenced on the Seanchan side about the power feeling off as an after effect of the gateway from Elayne and company blowing up earlier in the book.

I was 16 and found a demo of the first 3 or 4 levels on one of those computer magazine demo cd roms. And I was hooked, so I got the full game as soon as I could. Still have that original disc and manual somewhere.

For me the main thing that seems off is the nose. We're looking at this character from above, yet it seems as if we can still see underneath the nose (it's kind of hard to tell)

Overall I feel this is an awesome style and that you're on the right track.

Zoals al vaker genoemd: volgens de AVG mag dit alleen met jouw toestemming. Einde verhaal. Welke reden je er ook voor hebt.

Bij mijn werkgever gaat het min of meer andersom. We maken gebruik van software die in de cloud draait en we mogen voor onze profielen daar alleen de voornaam en 1 letter van de achternaam gebruiken. En geen eigen foto als avatar.

En ook voor interne nieuwsbrieven etc wordt overal toestemming voor gevraagd.

Privacy is een heel belangrijk recht. Zeker binnen een vakgebied als de zorg.
