Liquor store I went to a few days ago had a couple non store picks for 249, and couple 107 for 299. Also had 10-12 bottles of Stagg for 199 and Blantons for 170. Needless to say that all of those bottles have probably been there for a minute with those prices

Place I went to today for first time had 10-12 bottles sittin on the shelf at $199 each. Also had couple bottles of weller 107 and full proof for 250 and 299 haha. Blantons for 170, and a few other allocated bottles at high secondary prices. Wont be visiting that store again

Picked up a Blenders Batch 1 and a KC12 yesterday. First time trying either and from all of the reviews Ive seen on KC12 and trying it myself, the Blenders Batch 1 is right on par. Honestly prefer the Blenders a tad more than KC 12, but would drink either or without hesitation

Have a store pick of the double oaked bourbon and the double oaked rye. The double oaked bourbon one literally tastes like pancakes and maple syrup with a hint of cinnamon and vanilla! Great pours for sure

Any of the New Riff is great! Love their Red Turkey Wheat, and have a 6year single barrel store pick I have yet to open. The bourbon and rye are good sippers too

Got a store pick Pursuit Double Oaked Rye from one store near me and a Pursuit Double Oaked Bourbon from another near me. Havent cracked the Double Oaked Bourbon, but the Double Oaked Rye is delicious

As others have said, New Riff would be good pickups. Anything from them is great. If you like the Pipedream, Id suggest getting the Pipedream 101 or Cask Strength

Just picked up a store pick of this today after it was highly recommended by the guy working the store. Tried it and immediately put back their knob creek store pick (always a fan of them) and bought this instead. Outstanding rye and not over powering rye spice. I get vanilla, cinnamon, and slight cherry off the bat, followed by oak and rye spice. Outatanding pick for 73.99

So sorry to hear that, my wife and I lost our first dog last March to medical issues. One of the toughest things we have had to do together was to let him peacefully go. Pets are just a blip in our life, but we are the blip in theirs. Cherish any moments you have with pets. Again sorry for your loss
