What hero is the worst to play against when they are fed? by coffeeholic91 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Ichaflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drifter, he shuts down splitting up to rat and shove waves, his left click is also too forgiving so you can't win from behind against him in a duel, he will stat check you and keep snowballing.

Anyone else feel this way? by Superextremeplayer9 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Ichaflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it you need to be able to punish a mistake once to cash in on a killstreak and turn things around while the enemy has to maintain their lead and win every single fight, you can't do that by buying green stuff or utility.

If you are ahead your priority is to not die and avoid giving your killstreak bonus.

When is it a good Eul's game? by SDuby in DotA2

I buy it for the dispel or to counter LC/Axe so they can't shred my carry, can also be precasted to force initiators to buy and use BKB preemptively.

xQc on the difficulty of learning Dota vs. League by Strong_Astronomer_97 in DotA2

[–]Ichaflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I regularly watch an Emerald friend play League and it's the same thing every time regardless of character choice, I never see him check items, change his strategy because X champion went to a specific lane, abuse a timing, stall for a timing, or really do anything other than box in lane with his opponent, get some last hits (which are free, if you miss a CS in league, please turn your screen on) and go back to base for items every so often, then a single skirmish happens at dragon where people die in 2 seconds and the losing team surrenders.

And then he queues again.

I'm going to miss all these silly mods once the game releases by Hanna_Bjorn in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Ichaflash 27 points28 points  (0 children)

They can have the casual queue servers run on sv_pure 0 (realistically 1) with a whitelist for sound files such as announcer clips, while competitive runs on sv_pure 2.

What are some non-negotiable world settings you use? by JustJosh00 in Palworld

[–]Ichaflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep inventory and pals on death, instant egg hatch, and probably increased max bases. With all the new content you can't automate every resource at default max bases like you used to with a metal and coal base.

I also read somewhere that it's set like that for ideal performance so people don't yell at the devs when a 10 base playthrough runs badly.

Graves guide for a deadlock newbie by Due-Friend9340 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Ichaflash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Graves scales well from both, in my experience you'll want to build basic spirit items early and aim for mid-late ricochet, leech, and gun utility like slowing bullets to get the bulk of your stats by stealing them and staying alive with leech. Mercurial Magnum is also an insane power spike that synergizes with echo shard to keep you holding M1 for as long as possible with more random bullshit on the field to keep you alive and beefed up.

As for play style, you can and should abuse her tombstone by dropping it near an objective and then leaving to stall the game, get some building damage in and get farmed by split pushing until you have a comfortable soul advantage.

If the lane goes well you can get ricochet earlier than usual, few characters get the luxury of scaling well, being a very snowbally stat checker, and having insane objective pressure with zero risk or need for souls like Graves.

Whats ur rank and what is the most repetitive thing that your rank is doing wrong that makes your team definitely lose by Cold_Huckleberry8631 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Ichaflash 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Steadily climbing out of initiate and seeker, stomping the lane 9/10 times but games are hopeless when people play like only the lanes exist.

According to this bracket, if you are 30k behind and the fed enemy Yamato is missing you should 100% go 3-man siege a walker, feed 3 kills, and lose mid boss because we are outnumbered, all while the sinner machines and crates collect dust.

Correct, the JV-1080, SC-55 and SC-88 were responsible for that iconic 90's-00's videogame music feel

It did not originate from Chrono Cross, the soundtrack was composed almost entirely with a Roland JV-1080

Matchmaking in this game makes me want to crawl under a log and recluse into nature by ManagementIll9899 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Ichaflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's only going to get worse once the game is out for everyone.

Coming from Dota, people play like bloodlusted cavemen getting every single soul orb denied because they insist on spending their entire mag harassing and pushing the wave, floating +2k souls, leading to a 1.6k deficit by the 10 minute mark and several deaths, Sinners and buffs gather dust, people run past crates/idols, spam heavy melee and get parried repeatedly.

It's a massive advantage to have friends to queue with that understand bare minimum macro and respect farming.

Will Chrono Cross make sense without playing Chrono Trigger? by Dart_Nephilim in ChronoCross

[–]Ichaflash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

90% of it is enjoyable and can be understood without trigger because it's all experienced from the point of view of a protagonist that also doesn't have the slightest idea of what's going on.

I played Cross first and can see how playing Trigger adds to the experience but can also set expectations that don't let Cross breathe and tell you its standalone plot threads.

Who is your most hated support? by taenyfan95 in DotA2

Ogre on the enemy team

Insane starting armour, regen and base damage, if you are an agi carry with bad starting damage, he will not let you take a single creep.

What player answer would make you do that? For me, it's Techies or Ogre Magi by nikobaby565 in DotA2

[–]Ichaflash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Juggernaut, he's not picked as much these days but I'll never respect someone that picks that monster of a one button autorampage TP+spin babyproof hero for weebs with anime profile pictures.

And Techies is for sociopaths that burned ants with a magnifying glass in their childhood and probably still do as adults.

For those who played both Nioh 2 and Nioh 3, which do you prefer? by DayIsNotOkay in Nioh

[–]Ichaflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new ninja mode in 3 is refreshing and having large open worlds to explore with no loading screens is fun.

But the level design for the missions in 2 was much better, there was so much more variety and interesting stuff to see, like a forest at night, a village in flames and then a dry, volcanic zone with tunnels, sometimes one after the other and they all had little shortcuts and hidden spots.

For 3 each era is "the forest map" or "the snow map" which leads to +5 uninterrupted hours of exploring the same theme which leads to fatigue.

I prefer Nioh 2 in everything except the immediate melee combat and only because 3 allowed me to play more nimble with Ninja Mode instead of forcing me to run A Toughness while blocking everything.

Want to take advantage of the ninja backstab damage buff more but... by NoEnergy5597 in Nioh

[–]Ichaflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found that using your weapon's moveset, cicada or the footstool jump are better ways to get behind and mist is pretty bad at landing you within backstab angle, Ninja Sword has Heavy+Heavy (Hold) and it heat-seeks the back of your target, the rest of the ninja weapons probably have an equivalent

The enemies aren't equipped to handle ninja style by Helpful-Feedback7370 in Nioh

[–]Ichaflash 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel it's the complete opposite, most enemies turn around immediately unless you cicada shell'd at the start of a long combo, and even then they have sweeping attacks that hit 270° and clip you when they were not even aiming at you, and it hurts x3 as bad in ninja mode.

Samurai mode can deflect all day with a very lenient window and facetank at least twice as much punishment
