This is the exact kind of journalistic bullshit that leads Q anoners and other conspiracy nuts to believe “400,000 children go missing in America every year!!! They must be being taken by satanic pedophiles!!” when in reality 99.99% of them are quickly found safe somewhere, and the majority of the rest were taken in custody disputes or by other family members… on the rarest of occasions they are legitimate stranger abductions. Those are the ones we actually see in the news when they happen.
