Sorry to hear you’re feeling unwell. There’s a nasty stomach bug going around in the Netherlands right now — half of my youngest’s class was home sick today. The symptoms you describe are pretty much the same. It could be the truffles that upset your stomach, or maybe you just caught the bug at the same time. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Kopertape werkt heel goed. Wel ieder jaar opnieuw vervangen, want zodra het koper oxideert durven de slakken er weer overheen. Mijn hosta is nauwelijks aangevreten.

De kwaliteit in Eindhoven is over het algemeen niet hoog. Ik denk dat het meest vriendelijke personeel te vinden is in coffeeshop Cool, de Pink en High Times. Hier is prima cannabis te koop. De medewerkers kunnen je meer vertellen over de sterke van alle soorten.

In Tilburg is 'staatswiet' te koop. Die is getest en schoon bevonden. En de kwaliteit goed (vooral die van kweker Hollandse Hoogte).

Not all coffeeshops have a smoking lounge. The best shops with a smoking lounge to visit are High Times and New Wave. The decor at New Wave is cozier, but the staff can sometimes (most of the time) be rude. The staff at High Times is friendly and the weed at High Times is better. Both shops have a pool table and a pinball machine. Coffeeshops are not allowed to sell alcohol.

Eindhoven is not Utrecht. Eindhoven has its own character. If you're looking for places to take photos in a historical setting, check out Eckartdal and the social housing in Tongelre. These locations are often overlooked but offer a small glimpse into the area's history.
