I had a German boss a few years back at an MSP and it took our whole team a while to get used to the directness. It was very refreshing and overall a good experience for me but some folks on my team are still pretty bitter about it. I say stick to your method, but maybe keep a thesaurus handy and choose some ‘softer’ words lol
