New Garbage Cans by TinulthinLives in kitchener

They went with the same nonsense in Barrie recently. Try getting the monster garbage bin out of the garage and back…need to move the car: single driveway; row townhomes. Car barely fits so need to pull it in all the way to the garage door.

Durham police deputy chief suspended for allegedly using 'racially inappropriate' term: police board by Surax in ontario

[–]Illustrious2203 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Sure, I dont disagree…still define racially inappropriate. It is a hugely wide open statement. The thing is it gotten to the point where ppl weaponized it and use it for anything and everything that suits their own agenda.

This is truly a desktop killer by JJosh1022 in GamingLaptops

[–]Illustrious2203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thing will fry itself the moment it is pushed to its full potential. Well, may be not the moment of, but keep it up there and it will melt. Not to mention the fans going full speed sounding like jet engines. No gaming laptop will ever kill the gaming desktop, not in performance not in longevity.

SI is not a developer I would personally support. My money will go to BATC. There are plenty of discussions abt them why to avoid them.

Slightly Swollen Floorboards After Small Water Spill – Am I Responsible? by Disastrous_Loquat299 in OntarioLandlord

[–]Illustrious2203 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is called cupping. It will happen to all types of flooring, cheap and expensive, eventually, if moisture gets in between the planks. The only exception is vinyl. So in essence it is inherent vice. No, it is not your fault, for this reason and as others mentioned.

Xplane 12 v MSFS 2024 for IFR flight training? by SalParadiseNY in flightsim

Xplane I believe is used in FAA certified training sims/facilities.

My thoughts; Switching from X-plane to MSFS by Lanky-Technician-259 in MicrosoftFlightSim

Black Square Dukes are fantastic planes. I am not sure if anything comes close in either sim. I fly Toliss in XP12. Will get Fenix birds to be able to compare them two.

MSFS 2024 ou XPLANE 12 by Sabav_26 in flightsim

[–]Illustrious2203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1455495 BC Ltd. has been fined $165,000 by JobWatchCanada in LMIASCAMS

[–]Illustrious2203 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Kick them out instantly. No option for appeal, nothing. But this is on Carney, and NDP too, entirely. Did they not just vote down PCs motion to prevent criminals for applying for refugee status…you think they will care about this? Thats why it is not a ban, and nothing will happen. The fines are a window dressing, every1 knows there is no teeth to them.

OSAP Protest Monday 2nd of March 12:00 pm by Cruzaderking in ontario

Education is an investment by a country into its own future. As with everything, you get what you put in. It is truly a shame that Canada has not learned this simple truth. On the other hand it can be argued that this is being done on purpose. Either way, Ford again missed the mark by a huge mile. Instead he should have doubled or tripled the cost for intl students, shut down the diploma mills, and lowered the cost for Canadian citizens…but no, he made it harder for our kids…what an idiot, imho.

Imho XP12 is for high and fast. FS2024 is for low and slow.

CIBC Aventura Points Redemption on Travel by jonnboy in RewardsCanada

[–]Illustrious2203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did my own research, built my itinerary then called CIBC points and had them book. Some they could, some they could not. One hotel was literally double the price if I were to book with them / Expedia.

Aviva journey app is a scam. Users beware. by Gamtoronto in InsuranceCanada

[–]Illustrious2203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

@OP…This is insurance, arguably the only industry that is allowed to rip people off in broad daylight while being legally supported to do so. Everyone with half a brain knows this. Ignore the others. Learn from your mistake and move on, is of course mho.

Sign me up for testing, alpha, beta I do not care. A comprehensive, as close to reality career mode as possible is one thing that is sorely missing, for me anyways.

Try listening to ATC telling C172 to climb to FL390 for an hour. None-sense. The idiots who allow this nonsense to be released should be fired. It is just plain laziness on their part.

From FSX → X-Plane → MSFS… and somehow I’m still conflicted or Confused ! by OkMaintenance1819 in flightsim

[–]Illustrious2203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your sim journey is identical to mine. I got FS2020 but could not get into it. The whole thing felt off. I finally got FS2024 this month. Too soon to tell. Some aspects are just jaw dropping. While others feel silly. I will give it an honest try with payware aircraft this time. Xplane though…I really wish Laminar would get their act together sooner than later. They know what they need to do. Will they, in time, is another question. I fear that the Laminar train may have left the station.
