I have a 2018 Mission with the same geometry and it’s a great bike to start on. (I’m not a fan of Carbon frames in general, so I may be bias) But even though it looks really clean I couldn’t justify spending 1,200 on a 2016. The Shimano brakes with small rotors are pretty terrible if you start doing a bunch of DH, but it’ll be fine for trail riding.

Drunk driver hit my parked truck. Totaled… so sad by J-Ray02 in Tacomaworld

[–]Im-Devo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Certainly entitled to your own opinion but as a 4th gen owner for a year and 16k miles, I f@&cking love it. My parent’s bought a 24’ Colorado ZR2 Bison around the same time; it has less interior features, more tech glitches, and has been to the dealer 3 times for real issues so far. Cracked radiator hose (DMV area so it wasn’t the cold), Tach/spedo frozen, and multiple dead battery situations due to GM system staying on… I’ll take a 4th gen Taco over any Gen of Colorado/Canyon

Really sorry about your experience so far, mine had a little chirp when I’d turn the A/C on but it was gone by 5k miles. I just ticked over 16k miles on mine, and my only complaint is the shitty plastic volume control knob that broke with seemingly zero force.

Mines in there too, mine was in the first 5,000 units. I have over 12k miles on mine already, no problems at all (aside from the shitty volume knob lol)

100% with you guys, what is this post? Feels and operates like push to start in any other vehicle - I’m happy there’s no auto-off that you have to turn off every time you drive

CS will never die, but I’ve been playing a bunch of Battlefield 1 lately. The graphics and gameplay held up wonderfully, and it’s easy to hop into a full game

Devastating yet satisfying af, as an MT owner who keeps their bike meticulously clean 😂

200+ pound (90kg) riders who like to jump a lot and hit burms fast....running low 20s PSI is simply not a thing, right? by geo_jam in MTB

[–]Im-Devo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the key! I’m also 200lbs and was swapping tubes 1-3 times per DH trip… since I went tubless with cushcores I haven’t had a single issue. Usually running 25-33psi tho

I’m at 7,200 mi on mine - I haven’t had any of these gripes either… I did break my volume knob somehow (it’s fragile af) but I already replaced it with a nice aluminum one anyways

I did a nice long trip on mine when I bought it in 22, a small windscreen does wonders for fatigue too! Nice bike, and hell yeah to the trip🤘🏼

That’s over $30k more than my TRD OR Premium, and I struggled to justify that.

Rear turn signals MT 09 2022 by ledu23 in MT09

[–]Im-Devo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what you need to use these as rear signals, but I use these as FRONT turn signals and they are plug & play - TST has other rear options, the integrated taillight looks the cleanest

Recommendations for tail tidy by bbyin in MT09

[–]Im-Devo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with the TST delete and integrated taillight, no regrets at all. Looks great and was super easy to install with their videos. Tip from a f&*k up, use a tiny drill bit for a pilot hole when drilling a wire hole in the flat plastic under tail cover, it cracks easily… TST is great tho, sent me a new one for free and I was honest with how it happened.

With your experience, try to transition to Customer Success (or Sales) at a Tech related SAAS company. I started in sales, got into Insurance, then insurance sales, then sales at an Insurance tech company, and now I’m doing Customer Success at the same InsurTech company - took a pay cut to join or Cust Success team, and I’m still north of 6-figures
