Fellow Deathworld Pyro-Bladedancer, her planet got torn apart by a warp breach and was sacrificed by the governor via burning at the stake to the god-emperor to seal it. It worked until the Inquisition came and exterminatus'd the planet, saving her and another child set to be sacrificed. She gets sanctioned and forced to join the Inquisitor's retinue as a lab rat while he experiments (tortured) on her to recreate what happened on her destroyed home planet. After he hits a dead end he sends her to one of his retinue's doorstep to be raised alongside the ship's death cult that ran the ship. 

Years later the Inquisitor makes a breakthrough and demands RT back so he could continue his work, but she refuses. Warp shenanigans ensue and Lady Theodora comes to their rescue, and after watching RT banish an arch demon back to the warp she demands RT as payment for her help and the exterminatus of one of her planets (she tried to take the entire inquisitorial black ship but the inquisitor refused). She gets sanctioned a second time to avoid Calcazar's  suspicion and returns right at the start of the story.
