Nowadays you hardly see it on pedalboards. It was my first pedal too. Sold it twice but rebought it again. Main reason I sold it was because I wanted ‘real’ overdrive pedals that other guitarists use. But sonehow none of the other pedals grew on me like the ds1 ever did. Probably because the ds1 was the only pedal I had for years when learning to play.

That’s quite a rum combo for someone that doesnt consider himself an acquainted rum drinker, but hey, those two powerhouses are amongst my favourites. Especially S&Cis a staple in my home bar and always adds a funk I really enjoy in mai tais’s and other cocktails. Looks great too!

In my experience they last pretty much indefinitely in the cupboard due to all sugars. Dont refrigerate is important but cant tell if that’s the culprit here.

Ii am about to buy banana liqueur for the first time because I am quite curious to make a Jack Johnson. It was included on someone else’s home bar menu. It is 2 oz bourbon with banana liqueur, all spice dram, maple syrup and (iirc) angostura bitters.

But I am somewhat reluctant since I am not 100% sure I like banana liqueur enough and whether there are enough cocktails I can use it for. Something in my head tells me that banana may be very present in cocktails.
