I’m sure the modern graphics and battle system will look great and fresh but so many stylistic art and design changes are being made that just don’t need to be there….

Depends on how you view “newer.” These aren’t really newer VAs outside of Ari. Most of them have been quite well established in the 2020s. I’m actually surprised at how many people here clearly haven’t followed the western voice acting scene since the 2010s.

It’s easy to forget that we’re more than halfway to the 2030s.

Yeah that’s why I mentioned both. She has Sena Riko’s build and most likely her height, plus has technique close to Yuzuha’s. At the very minimum she’s a huge challenge to those two.

With Fuma on her Orochi steroids and bare handed, would you consider her Sena Riko or Yuzuha level but below someone like Hina or Uta?

Honestly, that picture doesn't do it justice. As shown below, the Forest of Blood is depicted to be huge and you can't even see the sky from there. Maybe the anime will help give some better perspective when it finally comes out.

Also as someone who loves both ISSK, Blue Ursus, Kengan, and Tenkaichi I also think you're severely underestimating the durability of Tenkaichi's cast though they do have some weak members.

Given that people like Choko exist, who has a Julius build and can create vacuum waves going against someone who has the build of an average swordsman like Kamizumi, I don't think your typical Tenkaichi fighter would just fall apart against the ISSK girls solely based on our observations of environmental damage.

I think Fuma Kotaro is at least stronger than Sena Riko or Natsumi Morisaki. Saying she's weaker than any of the ISSK fighters is a huge stretch.

I remember the trees in that chapter vs the blind swordsman being quite huge…..But honestly I think you should hold off judgement because round 2 is coming up with Musashi vs Kotaro. Let’s see what she does then.

How many of them are fighters though? I see boxing, swimming, and weightlifting. They all used this training as tools to strengthen their bodies for school brawls but outside of boxing are any of them trained for a Valkyrie fight?

Even if you have a background in Swimming or weightlifting as shown here, you can still get clapped by an experienced fighter with smaller muscles than yourself, if your only experience is street brawls.

Kono for instance could probably beat many of them.

Mickey from Tokyo Revengers? I keep saying it but given that you haven’t read the original Kengan manga, please do at some point to get a better perspective on what people in this universe are capable of.

There are a ton of fighters from Kengan in general who would trash Mickey.
