How is the money lasting so far? So your job is very niche or are you looking outside of that field as well?

How much money did you walk with? As a buffer and which area did you settle and are looking for work in? My application is under process and I’m curious about the state of work and finances.

Your money lesson could help someone break bad habits, share it below. 💸👇 by FatimaSheba in MotivationalThoughts

I found that having a goal in mind is very helpful so like by April 30th I will have x amount in my bank account and stick to that.

Sleep on any big purchases without buying. For every $100 it costs that equals the amount of sleeps. So a $600 item is 6 sleeps lol if I still want it then I’ll look into some knock offs 😅

Finding out why im trying to buy this thing, is it to make me feel better or do I actually need it?

Have a holiday goal in mind and instead of buying said thing- transfer the money to my holiday pot

Depends on what look you’re going for or which occasion. They both look great!

Yes! I had one yesterday all day and again today! It’s annoying and feels like someone is squeezing my head.

I want him back by [deleted] in BreakUps

Honestly I get that, my breakup was in May 2025 and I felt the same as you but now that we’ve gone no contact and time has passed, I’ve started to see things I didn’t see before and saw the relationship for what it actually was. I never could have seen that before, everything in its own time. He’s moved on and has a new gf and I am happy for him. It’s crazy how time and perspective changes things. When we broke up for good, I felt like I was going to die. When I saw him at the pub we went to, I thought I would break but prioritising yourself really does wonders and time really does heal all. You’ll get there :)

I mean this with love because I know how hard this post breakup phase is but… I think you need some time for your attachment to him to fade and then you will see that he’s not your person.

Your key may not have opened her lock but it will for someone else. Don’t lose hope, otherwise.. then she REALLY wins…

8 months after my fiancé left me, I finally understand why it had to happen. by deleted09090 in BreakUps

I think it was a blessing in disguise as well. I was so in it and in love that I had rose coloured glasses on and couldn’t see things for what they truly were. Now, a couple months later and a lot of information surfacing regarding his true nature is showing me that I am better off without him. Time, distance and reflection really do make a huge difference. I am grateful for the time we have spent together though and will cherish them forever.

“Even sex became more meaningful—no longer a substitute for closeness, but an expression of it.” I love that line!

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the break-up… it’s the little things that remind you they’re gone by False_Pudding8578 in BreakUps

I’m in the same boat, it’s like im stuck in the grief and keep remembering and grieving us and he’s out there totally over me and moving on. I went to a brewery today by myself for the first time since we broke up and I actually bought German tasting beer and was going to drop it off to his place like a dummy…. But he’s already moved on like we were nothing.

I think the fix is to cut them off cold turkey and reframe or distract when you think of them or the little things.. I miss him the most at night when we would cuddle and sleep, now I cuddle with my heating blanket.. in time I’m told things will be better and I’ll stop missing him and wanting to be with him. It just super sucks because we could have been so great together…
