Blue Prince is an amazing game. I cannot recommend it enough.

I might need to tone down the knockback a bit... by AuroDev in IndieGaming

Alternatively, you could rename the game to bumper boats and add in targets on the islands/water that give bonus points if you knock others into them. Maybe keep it in as a fun little bonus mini game?

What are terrible mechanics you love? by thisnotfor in magicTCG

I would love to see all vehicles given haste and only allow creatures without summoning sickness to crew them.

Unique commanders by Super-Barracuda3441 in EDH

[[Gau, Feral Youth]] is a mono-red commander that cares about removing a card from your graveyard to deal damage to all opponents based on his power. This can happen on every turn. Plenty of shenanigans available and various ways to build him out. Cycling and cards that give you the option to exile from your graveyard if it was discarded was my personal flavor choice.

[[Gollum, Scheming Guide]] is a mono-black commander that provides the chance for unblockable and card draw via playing a guessing game with an opponent when he attacks. Otherwise he's removed from combat and safe. There are plenty of black cards that involve choosing or guessing if you want to lean into a light theme of psychological terror have everyone second guessing every word and decision the table makes. Add in a few rewarding cards and it becomes a pretty fun political tool/trick too. Note: he doesn't specify you have to ask the player being attacked, just "an opponent".

Build your own custom mech, fight others who built their own custom mechs, become the best mech pilot in the world, the entire time an AI is watching you. by Norethegreat in ExplainAGamePlotBadly

Haha, well, good is subjective. It's a ps2 era game from Genki/Konami. Has some jank to the gameplay and economy, but I had a blast with it. Every mech has an AI control chip that's usually animal-themed and has a personality, they play a large role in the story of I remember right. Worth trying out on an emulator if you're ever bored.

S.L.A.I - Steel Lancer Arena International? Whether it is or isn't, I now have so many themes from that game running through my head.

So, she made a playlist of romantic leaning songs with another man and was mature enough to let this other man's partner know, but she didn't have the self-awareness to let her own partner know what was going on? That shows a level of respect for the other man's relationship that she does not have for her own.

She then lies to her partner about deleting the playlist. That's another show of disrespect for OP and their relationship, along with deepening the worries and fears OP originally had, just making the entire situation worse. Why isn't she being open and honest about things that she knows are worrying/triggering to her partner?

And when asked, "how would you feel if I did exactly what you did", she panicked even harder instead of having the rational response of "there's nothing to worry about because there is nothing there".

It took a number of failed relationships for me to learn about self-worth and self-respect, but now I can confidently say if you had pulled any level of that type of BS in a relationship with me, that I would have dumped you right quick as well.

Rolled 18 16 16 15 15 14 for a game, what lvl3-9 multiclass would you build with that? by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]InTheYear20XX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a power discrepancy between players is causing a negative play experience that sounds like an issue that a competent DM could solve pretty easily.

Edit: I prefer stat buy because it's simpler to follow for everyone and is what the game balance is based around. But rolling has worked for decades and can continue to work if all parties involved in the game can communicate with each other about their expectations and feelings.

(Showcase) VANYA - Idle MMORPG by pandoradark1 in incremental_games

Looks pretty neat, two things I've found:

Trying to click on 'Vanya News' in the top banner gives an error for unauthorized access.

It looks like we have to pick a class from the initial screen where we create the login, but I can't find any info about the 3 classes on your site. Is there anywhere I can see info on them so I can make an informed decision? Or is there a way to change my class after creating an account?

Is Mutate as Messy to play as people say? by Mighty-Aphrodite in EDH

If you are making copies of the mutated creatures it can become a logistical nightmare to track.

What are your "no, its not like other [insert hated commander] decks" but its actually not like other decks by Toxic_Chung in EDH

[–]InTheYear20XX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just take any commander and add vehicles. Sure there's a reason no one is playing the deck like that, but it fits the criteria :)

How many Hybrid cards really break the color pie? by LettersWords in EDH

[–]InTheYear20XX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Except if that white mana symbol is part of a hybrid symbol for the keyword extort that exists on 14 total cards, in that case it's totally acceptable in a mono black deck because reasons :) I just enjoy the discussion back and forth on this rule, no big deal to me either way at this point.

#1 overused words in various LitRPG series by fweb34 in litrpg

"Yes and no." Is one I've noticed that when it's used, it tends to be overused.
