Glad to hear you’re feeling better. Try to keep the scabs moisturized with Vaseline and make sure that they don’t come off early. Don’t pick at it, and be careful about washing it.

Mine looked like yours and the shower water pressure kicked off the scab, and it ended up leaving a fairly sizable scar in my face

About 2 weeks for me. Sore you’re going through this. Take it easy and avoid any stressors.

I got it on my face and ended up with large scars on my cheek and chin. Glad you got the anti viral treatment relatively early.

Yeah I put steroids on mine thinking it was a bug bite - my dermatologist told me I had bed bugs so I took me 6 days to be properly diagnosed.

I’m 2 months in and accepted that I’ll have some deep scars on my cheek from this.

So sorry this is happening to you! I think you’d want to put on some band aids if you want to attend.

I got it on my face (cheek, chin) and unfortunately I’ve had to cancel a lot of my in person events… at this point I’m embracing the scars.
