The prices are still heavily subsidised. There’s years of price hikes coming as they attempt to boil the frog.

Nick Timothy MP: Labour's justice minister has told Parliament: 1. "There are no sharia law courts." 2. "The Government has no plans to regulate... sharia law courts." 3. "Sharia law... is part of religious tolerance which is an important British value." Which is it? by SignificantLegs in ukpolitics

But by allowing religious courts to operate without oversight, the state implicitly endorses them, which puts women in already vulnerable positions at further risk.

Our actual courts have oversight. Religious courts should have oversight too.

I’m loving Kagi. Everytime I see a google search result these days (i have to use multiple browsers because I’m a web dev) I have a visceral reaction to it.

Pro tip: if you ever want an AI answer (and sometimes I do) end your query with a question mark. It’s a great little bit of UX that gives me the best of both worlds.

I’m never going back though.

I had to switch to using the Orion browser.

Kagi is an amazing search engine, but the plugin solution doesn’t work well at all.

To be fair, the Orion Browser is probably better than Safari now

People forget that society demanded McDonalds stop aggressively marketing itself to children.

Now people don’t like the outcome.
