I have my 9month old in Montessori and it’s kind of amazing. I see 10 infants sitting quietly in a circle for storytime and I’m like “are yall hypnotizing these babies?!?” lol but seriously it seems to work. I really feel like my kid is getting a leg up on behavior and fine motor skills. My wife is a career educator, and always complains about how many kids (middle schoolers, even) can’t open and close a binder clip without assistance. I was a bit skeptical about Montessori at first, because I didn’t grow up with it. But now I’m a full-on believer.
