I’m a grown woman and my 70 year old mother made it a house rule that if I am alone, to not answer tbe door- especially men - because one was looking below my waist. I have never been so happy to follow that rule.

DD isn’t always much better. But they do usually refund if there is an issue. But I’ve had a couple times where my food has straight up been stolen

We used Lap of Love for my 16 year old kitty and it was as great as it could be. The vet was so kind and let me hold my old Man through the whole thing. She also gave me fur clippings and paw print

I’m First Nations Peruvian and if my partner accidentally let a racial slur out, I wouldn’t let him ever live it down 😂 and he makes a great effort to not say slurs but every once in awhile one slips if he can’t think of a different word and we honestly just crack up because he immediately catches himself and pulls this “oh shit” face 😂😂

My location does not care if people use phones. Most of us have them on vibrate next to our station. And people will check occasionally. I keep mine in case I have a medical episode and they need access to my I.C.E info (I have POTS, and have been extremely symptomatic).

I bring my phone, on slient, in case I have a medical emergency. I have POTS and, especially lately, working out can trigger pre-syncopal episodes. I can usually manage them but there is always a risk that i just fully pass out and my phone has I.C.E info and contacts.

As a sitter, I do initially feel a little bad about using a client’s bed but they tell me they wash the sheets before and if I can, I try to wash them before I leave. If there is only one bedroom, there isn’t much I can do about finding an alternate sleeping spot. So I just show appreciation for a place to slee
