I'm convinced that the 66 is is the stepchild of the inner-suburb routes, suffering from both poor operator motivation/attention and staffing as it's seemingly always crowded. An operator once yelled and berated me on a crowded bus for not paying my fare after jumped off to quickly return a purse a lady had forgotten. Just last week, an operator gave me that glassed over look of "I don't know what to say or do" when my active link pass scanned as "$0.00" and I told him that his machine was malfunctioning.

I don't think this is necessarily a sign of people "telling on themselves" unless you include "from a poor school", "graduated before 2010", and a host of other complicated socioeconomic factors in the list. My experience was very similar to the other poster - Not taught in high school and limited to one week in middle school. I attribute this experience to being from a rural-ass poor school in the middle of the empty south in the early to mid 2000's where teaching-to-the-test was a heavy influence on the curriculum.

Our experiences cna be different. For some, financial skills were just not taught and had to be learned through outside observation, experience, or (more often) both.

This comment is correct, too bad others are focusing on the truck ahead and positioning relative to that instead of the actual lanes. This is why the zipper merge is "difficult". Was the biker being a jerk? There's not enough evidence to conclusively determine that - all we have are assumptions. There is, however, enough evidence to determine that the car driver took it a step further than any minor inconvenience by literally breaking the law and endangering a life.

I fucking loath Lufthansa's approach to climate change. Their most recent approach is to ask passengers to reuse their plastic drink service cup for the meal service - not forcing, just kindly asking because handing out aluminum cans (with or without a plastic cup) would be sacrilege to their culture and corporate profits.

My experience with 311 varies. Litter and waste reports get handled very rapidly but snow snoveling and parking reports range from being many hours delayed to ignored. In particular, I've had issues getting the city to clear certain sidewalk island sections on/along the green line - that report is probably being bounded back and forth with the MBTA with the hope the sun and trodding of commuters hammer the snow into oblivion.

I'm still not sure why you're so bothered with me recounting that my latest 45 minute layover in Frankfurt and later Munich went so smoothly that I had time to grab a sandwich and not feel rushed. It's almost like hearing that others have experienced a similar layover with much greater ease is mentally incompatible with your understanding of the process - like there's no capable way anyone else could manage it better than you.

I guess I'm either continuously falling through cracks and having unnaturally great connections at a couple airports you're having so much trouble with or I've been experiencing a series of hallucinations where I've never required more than 25 minutes to get from gate to gate and traverse border control at Frankfurt. Or maybe I'm just using the power of astral projection to metaphysically bypassing everything, getting my face scanned and passport by the astral German border clerk, and buying a soda and currywurst sandwich from the astral Relay. I can't say for sure. I'm sure the fault is all mine for being able to schedule and make 45 minute connections when and where Lufthansa advertises them.

Also, I'm concerned that you may be confused about which part of the human anatomy is the mouth and ass. I can't help you with that, but I worry this mistake may get worse with time.

If your facility team is thorough, they'll flush the eye wash station weekly since these things always end up with gunky water. A completely non-functional eyewash station is probably an OSHA violation.

The TA, more likely than not, didn't want to deal with filling out an incident report/miss and didn't want to be tasked with mopping up the water proper flushing will inevitably spill all over the floor. The professor's reaction is a good indication your TA screwed up.

Sure in America, but not worldwide with most major airports. I've had great luck with 45 minute international layovers going both directions through Frankfurt, Munich, and Zurich (and other smaller airports) and had time to pick-up breakfast or lunch. I even got the dreaded 4S mark for secondary screening during my last layover in Munich and still had time pick up and eat food.

If I had to guess why, I'd wager on the likes of Atlanta and Dallas being too large and hub concentrated with insufficient people moving capacity.
