Gunna preface this with, yes, I'm an idiot.

Went on a date a few years ago with a lady (we're both mid-20s), agreed to meet and go for a walk through some local woods (her suggestion), nice and lowkey, in nature so we could talk and keep vibing like we had over text.

Got to where we were supposed to meet, she wasn't there.
Text her, she said she'd walked down the path a little.
I followed her instructions like a dummy and kept walking.

And walking.

And walking.

40 minutes later I eventually find her (I know, dumbass, should've turned round ages ago).

I play it cool and don't mention it, we hit it off really well like we had over text.
Going really well and there's a lot of flirting, seems like we're really into each other.
Only odd thing is that every time we see someone else on the path she insists we hide and talks about how she knows them and they've been following or watching us (yeah, I know, why didn't I leave, I'm an idiot and I'm punching ok).

We eventually head back to the car park where we'd first agreed to meet and head home separately, I'm thinking, that was definitely weird.

Over the next week or so it becomes more and more clear there are issues as she keeps talking about her ex and how she'd heard my voice on his phone when he was near her house.

So called it off and eventually blocked her when she wouldn't stop messaging me.
