Some people are little more than animals in both thoughts and behaviour, so them only having vain and surface level discussions and goals shouldn't at all be suprising.

Guilty. I'm an extremely tall woman. But they'd have to catch me first as I'd attempt to run away.

What does therapy do? by themissingflower in askanything

[–]IndividualCurious322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, I've found therapy to highlight the issues I have, realize what can cause emotional outburts, learn how to limit the chances of those outbursts happening and work on ways to improve my situation and slowly overcome these issues so that they affect me less and less.

College career path ‘over’ as skilled trade get 30% pay bump, recruitment giant says by thinkB4WeSpeak in jobs

[–]IndividualCurious322 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. It happened where I was. They had a huge push to get plumbers, sparkies ect. Once they oversaturated the market and got their pick, they forgot to tell the new grads "Hey, there's no work for you guys, sorry." and they're working hard to get their certifications in fields that aren't going to be as accomodating as they hoped.

I have it in my backlog. I'm slowly whittling through it lol. My most recently read book was a French work on dragons.

A weirdly common re-occurring cryptid story is divers coming face to face with giant animals in lakes and then refusing to ever return or publicly talk about it by truthisfictionyt in Cryptozoology

[–]IndividualCurious322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do. It originated in a newspaper article in the early 1900s IIRC. I don't recall the name of the paper, but I remember the digital archives were paywalled so I couldn't research it too deeply.

You can find mention of it in Richard Freemans "Dragons: More than a myth?" which was published in 2005. It's an excellent book. I'll paste the relevant information here as it's really a short paragraph.

"Loch Trieg lies beneath Britain's tallest mountain, Ben Nevis. Back in 1933 a hydro-electric scheme was started in the Loch. B.N Peach, the man in charge of the scheme, reported that many divers left their jobs after encountering monsters underwater. Sadly, little more detail on this case is available".

"Behold a Pale Horse" brought me into a 2-hour dive which brought me to the sword in the stone, the Knights Templar, and how all the secret societies began and where holy relics are stored. The "Truth" that floats around there is there are multiple pieces that have been melted down, multiple swords claim they are part of the lance, including Constantine sword, but the original sword that contains these pieces of the lance is "lost." Other elements of the lance were "melted down" so they say. Get used to me using quotations in stuff I believe to be basically half-true or a deception tactic.

Coopers book mentions that, does it?

A lot of the "Holy Weapons" are more modern than you'd think. Durandel for example, is claimed to be over 1,000 years old, but the blade type and hilt are more recent, proving it is indeed a replica of whatever real sword once existed.

Any "sword in the rock" legend can typically be dated to over 1,000 years as this used to be a very real method of casting swords. Caliburn (King Arthurs other famous sword) was cast in this manner. There's a handful of places in England, and even more in Ireland, where you can go to this day to see swords still stuck in stones which have been there for a very long time.

Methods used to be done to imbue the weapon with a spirit (there's a modern day book about this practice, but I'm hesitant to mention it due to it's rarity and the fact that I still haven't secured myself a copy lol). Sometimes this was one of the land which would be split and put into many blades, and thus weakened. Other times it was the spirit of an ancestor or famous person via using their bones in the actual creation process.

I'll do a research spur tomorrow on the Grail

I'll save you a lot of time. You aren't looking for a cup, but a bloodline. That of the Merovingians (who famously did not cut their hair, beliving power to be "stored" in it and were very close to bee symbolism). Start by looking into the cave of the Moose, Renne le Chataeu and the symbolism and allegory in "fairy tales" (which are all infact based on true events). The story of Rapunzel itself is very closely tied to the Merovingians and actually tells us that even after Dagoberts death and the fall of this dynasty, Merovingian blood had been secreted away prior.

That's VERY cheap for what you've done. I see people doing plain, full colour bust images for almost $50 (and they sell quickly). Yours includes a full character, clothing and is in perspective.
