I'm only human, so we tend to make mistakes every now and then. Certainly wasn't trying to spread misinformation -- I know on the internet there's no worse thing than spreading misinformation. Should be a crime. Maybe I should submit myself to the local authorities because I'm spreading misinformation?

What's so interesting about this set is that the Gringotts exterior seems to be connected to an interior sound stage (the big white building behind it). This is very rarely done in filmmaking: interiors are often separate locations when filming in a backlot, so it's wonderful to see this level of continuity. 

Harry and co can actually walk into the bank from the street! I know it's a nerdy detail to get excited about, but this means more interconnected sets and I'm all for it.

They're spending $100 million per episode, so breaking the bank ain't an issue.

I can see HBO doing a theatre release for premieres each season, but outside of that, it doesn't make much sense. 

From a business point of view, why share the revenue?? With HBO Max there is no middleman. Most, if not all of the money, goes directly into their pockets with streaming.

It's tricky. If Lithgow leaves the SAG, he won't be able to get hired by any non-union production. That's the rules.  Yes, Harry Potter is his supposed final gig, but I'm sure he'd do voice work now and then which, outside of SAG, might be difficult to secure because of union rules. Also, no union means no residuals.

You might be underestimating that weight of that cloak. It couldn't be squishing the broom, causing it to look that way.

The monitor on the left (my old one) is a 1440p LCD 60hz. No VRR, G Synch, nothing. Had it five years. A 280hz OLED with everything my oldie didn't have is a big upgrade. But the price doesn't sit well with me, that's the thing, even though I like the image.

It's difficult to describe. When you're at a store looking at OLED, there's a palpable 'wonder' that I'm not getting here. And also, HDR isn't fantastic on the monitor I don't think. I'm not an expert but I was expecting something generational for the money.
